I just had a new door put in and within a year the door handles tore off and the person who installed it jammed the handle plates to the removable rings so it couldn't be removed. (what a pain!) So, I needed new handles fast that were cheap and looked good. I wasn't going to buy these becasuse it was a few pounds more than the cheaper ones I saw on Amazon. Plus, I was a little sceptical as I always go for the pricer items that end up disappointing. However, I am 100% glad that I paid the extra for these handles because they are FANTASTIC! ... It's worth every penny! The design is simple and stylish, the instalation is so easy to do (even I can do it!) and everything you need is provided too (apart from the drill and screwdriver :D). The mechanism is just brilliant and a genius design! They have 2 inter screw that goes through the whole door and hold the two handle plates, on either side of the door, together in place. Also the rings literally screw onto the handle plates which is so much better. The only problem I had was that I could only put in one inter screw through the door since the doorlock was in the way to put the other one in (it will make sense later). But it could be my fault because I might not have angled the plates in the right place to avoid the doorlock. Overall, these handles are great and the smoothness of the door opening and closing is bliss now. (just don't throw the instructions away)... I am very happy... Many Thanks!

I love the feel of these handles as they are matte, they are easy to fit onto the door,they work really well and the mechanism is very smooth. I would say the value is good for the price you pay. However, I took away one star as with daily use, one handle has broken off. It's the handle on my lodger's door, and whilst I haven't had any issues with any of the other handles, it's a little disappointing because I can't buy just one side of the handle to replace it. I don't think she uses it aggressively, so I'm assuming it was just the odd weak handle.

Good quality handles. Easy to install. Nice strong return spring overcoming any stiffness that he latch may have. Have purchased more to upgrade my ageing and tired victorian handles.

Handles and latches are great. The problem is the fixings. 1. The screws (with the exception of the hinges screws) are crap quality. I have managed to put none in without stripping the threads. I am being as careful as I possibly can, but no luck. The screws need to sit flush to the handle so I haven’t managed to find replacements yet, this has doubled my install time & lowered the quality of the final finish. 2. These are made for a door thicker than 40mm. As mine are 40mm thick I have had to cut every screw with pliers….absolute nightmare.

Se rallan con mirarlos, además los tornillos son muy malos, con un destornillador manual y sin hacer nada de fuerza te comes la cabeza y no puedes ni apretarlos hasta el finde ni quitarlos porque se ha quedado sin dibujo, creo que no he visto tornillos tan malos antes. Lo peor es que para poner el tornillo tienes que pasar el destornillador al lado de la manilla y se ha rallado por varios sitios. Son bonitos pero muy muy malos
