I have to say, I am truly impressed by this razor. I used to be one of those guys that used disposable razors for many years. I decided to switch to a safety razor 15 years ago, and never looked back. Nothing compares like a shave from a safety razor. I started out using a Merkur Progress adjustable razor, one of the most popular razors around and highly rated still, to this day. I also bought a Parker Varient, which is very similar to the Merkur, and used both. I finally decided to change it up a bit. Glad I did! Enter the Rockwell T2 adjustable razor. What a gem! The engineering itself is impressive. A very solidly built device. Both adjustments are nice and smooth, and the tolerances are tight. To me this indicates longevity. I know it will be around for a very long time. You might even want to keep it locked up, cause it's a very tempting piece of hardware! Shaving is something that no man looks forward to. Now I do. I use Feather blades, some of the sharpest, if not the sharpest that you can get. This combination gives me the smoothest, closest shave I have ever had. Blade exposure setting for me is at 3, and I feel confident that it won't knick me. No blade exposure on the sides either, which means safe handling. This is an expensive razor, no doubt. Much more than the others I bought. But it was money well spent!

This is a high quality safety razor. Gives you a nice close shave. Stainless steel makes for an easy clean up. Get an extra box of razors and use a new one after every shave. I especially like the selectable blade cut settings. Start out a little higher until you get used to it. I have mine set to number 3. This razor is very safe and will leave your skin smooth if you use a good shave cream. My girlfriend loves it because i don't chafe her thighs anymore.

I just went back to wet shaving about 5 - 6 weeks ago. I saw an ad and it sparked memories of my dad, he used to shave with a Gillette Fatboy DE razor which he purchased in the 1st part of 1959 when he arrived in Genoa as a young man to live with his Uncle before he would migrate to the USA in 1962. He purchased that razor when he was 19 years old. He arrived in Genoa after escaping from communist Yugoslavia. Anyway, I purchased both the Rockwell T2 and Rockwell 6C. I really love the Rockwell T2, very much mimics the old Gillette fatboys. I started on setting 1.5 and have worked my way up to 4. The razor mows down the beard, I could get away with just one pass but I go in for a second mild pass across the grain and some minor areas againts the grain. I am fortunate enough to have incredibly coarse facial hair and on my scalp except for the very top :) as wel las having sensitive skin. I am learning the angle, the pressure, the map of my facial hairs, etc. but this razor is smooth as heck, easy to find the angle. I absolutely love it, not just for the sentimental reminders but how quickly I have learned it. The first week was rough, lots of irritation, not the fault of the razor but my inexperience. Please make sure to watch some video reviews, I recommend Geofat Boy and Ohio Shaves. Remember it is also very much about your prep, hydration, preshave cream orm oil, good working in of the lather, good rinse, I use Thanyers skin toner, then rinse and use a good after shave balm. Again, give yourself a learning curve, once you get the sweet spot, learning the razor, your face, a good razor-blade, etc. you will love it. For me it is cathartic, relaxing, sentimental because of my dad and wet shaving is not mindless shaving like using a cartridge, which actually irritated me more. Good luck I highly recommend. 5 of 5

This is admittedly my first safety razor, I'm never going back to cartridge shaving ever. I've always struggled to get a clean shave without irritating my face, this makes it easy and I can adjust the blade to catch the indent in my cheeks and I have a rather angular jaw and chin so cutting on that edge and with the varied cheek surface has always been problematic and left me breaking out etc. I'm at the end of my second week, less mess, less time, learning was a breeze, and I really do like the luxurious feeling of the ritual itself. I get it now. Update: months later and still incredible, this thing is the best and saves so much money, so inexpensive i could use a top of the line new blade every day and it would still be a fraction of the cost of even the most inexpensive cartridge razors. Still very smooth, and I've come to really appreciate taking my time to take care of myself in the morning. Gives a great shave around a mustache as well, and my colleagues and spouse have all commented on how good it looks, such an even shave.

After a 37-year sentence of scraping my face with what often felt like a rusty garden weasel (aka cartridge razors), I decided to dive into the world of safety razors. My research, which involved more YouTube than is probably healthy and even roping in AI, led me to the Rockwell T2. I wasn't looking to turn my bathroom into an amateur barbershop or to start a new "intimate relationship" with my beard; I just wanted a comfortable, quick, simple, and decent shave! The Rockwell T2 delivered. Its adjustable settings are idiot-proof (a key feature for this recovering cartridge user), and the lowest setting is gentle enough not to make you feel like you're learning to shave with a straight razor on a rollercoaster. My Two-Day Verdict: My experience over the first two days has been fantastic. The shave quality was excellent on both days. On day one, I just shaved with the grain. By day two, I went both with and against the grain. The comfort level was a revelation: zero nicks, no cuts, and a blessed absence of my usual neck irritation and bumps. Time-wise, it was surprisingly no longer than my old cartridge routine, although it definitely requires a LOT more attention and focus than just mindlessly dragging a cartridge across your face. My process was simple: wet face, lathered up with a brush and bar soap, shaved, rinsed, and then applied a bit of moisturizing lotion. The Bottom Line: If you, like me, have been held hostage by expensive cartridges and the ensuing skin torment, but the thought of elaborate, multi-step shaving rituals makes you want to grow a hermit beard, the Rockwell T2 is your escape hatch. It proves you can get a fantastic, comfortable shave with a safety razor without needed 20 lotions, potions, oils, creams, and other stuff shown in some of the YouTube videos regarding the proper way to use a safety razor!!! I highly recommend the Rockwell T2. My face hasn't felt this good since... well, probably ever. The picture shows everything I used to shave. I got that all on Amazon at the same time I ordered the razor. My only complaint, if I have to give one, is that even though my face looks great, when looking at my whole body, I still look as fat as I did before. So don’t expect a full body slimming effect or bodybuilder look after simply shaving with the T2. I might be wrong, but I think that is limitation of most if not all razors.

I’m new to wet shaving having used an electric Panasonic Arc razor for most of my shaving life. What I like about the design is the butterfly action which is easy and safer to load. The base of the handle loosens and opens the compartment to safely place the blade. The handle is comfortable and the finish is perfect. The safety razor can be adjusted from the lowest safest setting to the most aggressive configuration. I started at one but eventually adjusted it to 3.5. The weight and balance are perfect. I used the weight of the razor to shave with the grain, across the grain and against the grain. It was easy to operate, and the design allows water to clear the hairs, debris and foam. I took out the blade, dried it and dried the razor. It comes with 5 blades, a nice case and a leather head cover. For a beginner it is a perfect setup. I chose this over the more expensive stainless version since I was not sure I’d like it. But I truly love shaving with it. It’s perfect.

I'm not new to Rockwell razors. Over the past four years, I've had a 2C, 6C, and 6S. They've all been great and given a smooth shave. I thought I'd upgrade to the T2 simce it appeared to be a perfect razor with all of the adjustability self contained. However, quality control seems to be an issue. No matter what I tried, the blade gap and exposure was very uneven right out of the box. Looking closer revealed an issue with the baseplate. So I reached out to Rockwell. Simce I purchased the razor through Amazon, they will not warranty it. See attached photos.

This is a great razor. It is my first ever safety razor I have always used disposable ones. I did a lot of research and decided a good adjustable razor would be my best option. I picked this one first. This may be a little bit one sides as I have only owned this safety razor but I truly do like it. The fact that I can adjust it for my skin type is perfect. I use it on a ~2.4 for shaving my face and get a perfect clean shave just as easy as the leading disposable power head blades. I set it 3.2 for shaving my skin where I have to apply my medical supplies. Because I have to keep the medical areas safe and clean I would go though a lot of razors. Being now that I can use a blade once and throw it away and only throw away some metal that will just biodegrade back into the earth much quicker than plastic and for much much cheaper I am a happy camper. The only drawback that I have about this razor is the balance. I absolutely love the heavy head it allows for the perfect pressure to be applied with almost no extra force from you keeping an easy clean shave. The drawback is that the handle being short (Which is actually really good in my opinion ) makes it off balanced so when you go to rinse the head out you feel as if you are going to drop it. I hold my razors with a slightly lose grip making the tool the object ding the work not my shaky hands from tremors. Being more balanced with the same size handle would be a huge benefit. This is the only reason I removed 1 star. Thank you Rockwell for a good introduction into the world of safety razors.

Excellent autant pour la barbe que pour le corps grace à la roulette ajustable de la lame, coute cher mais vaut son prix, j'avais besoin de rasoir de qualité car je me rase à tous les jours j'aime aussi me raser certaines parties du corps avec lajustement de la lame permet deviter les coupures et irritation sur les zones sensibles comme dans le cou ou certaines parties du corps, procurez vous un savon de rasage de qualité et une brosse et un apres rasage et vous ne voudrez plus jamais revenu aux rasoirs à cartouches

Muy bien construida y con peso. La apertura de mariposa y la regulación a tu gusto hace que sea una maquinilla de afeitar perfecta.
