Nice and sharp, had zero issues cutting and removing stitches. The hook made it very easy to get under each stitch. Word of caution, the hook is sharp as well and can easily hook skin. Work slowing, cautiously, and diligently and you will have no problems. I could also see these as being useful for some sewing jobs.

These worked very well to remove stitches from my cat's neck where he had a little benign bump removed. My cat goes through great anxiety even with sedation going to the vet. This work great! I didn’t think going back to urgent care and paying another copay for stitch removal was necessary. The curved tip allows to get under the stitch very easily, and just a light snip after that does the trick. I’m a nurse, but I think these are easy enough for just about anyone to use.
