Cheap and poorly designed
I wasn't expecting much for the price but this thing doesn't even float without capsizing. Instructions are horrible. They are in Mandarin but the photos are so small and blurry that they're generally useless.

The worst… DO NOT BUY
The boat pieces were fine , but the instructions were all in Chinese and the pictures were too small to see. Had to go online to zoom into pictures to see the wiring. The wiring requires soldering to the battery holders. Additionally if it accidentally get any water on any of the components it stops working. Junk!!!

This boat won’t float upright. Tips over immediately! Total junk!
This kit was not very fun for my 12 year old grandson and me to put together. It would have been fun, but the instructions were in Chinese and the diagrams very small. After assembly, we launched it in our quiet pool. The on/off switches are very funky and wouldn’t stay on. After 2 seconds of running, the boat flipped over and got the electronics wet. That was it. It will go up on a shelf.Whoever designed this toy didn’t test it to see if it actually works. Don’t buy this junk!

Flimsy, cheap and doesn't work
Terrible, cheap design with awful instructions (in Mandarin). We couldn't get the remote working and even if we could I don't think this will stay afloat since it keeps on breaking apart anyway. Don't buy this!

Instructions were in Chinese not English
Nice project made difficult by language barrier of instructions

Doesn't work
The directions require a lot of just trying to figure out what the picture shows because the instructions lack about 30% of the directions. A few of the wooden pieces on the propellers won't stay on. Mostly, after getting it built, it doesn't work. Will require a heat gun or blow dryer to utilize heat sleeves and you'll want plyers to hold wiring while heating or burn your fingers. Didn't test floatability since it never actually worked.

But it didn’t actually work
Product was sturdy. Nothing broke while assembling. But it didn’t actually work. Teen was annoyed but got over it.

A bit top heavy.
I bought this at the request of my grandson. He assembled it and then placed it in the pool to test it out. It flipped upside down almost immediately. At first he was pretty disappointed but grandpa came to the rescue and taught him a lesson in problem solving. I showed him how to use two wooden skewers with a small piece of pool noodle on each one stuck into the boats styrofoam base. In essence we put catamarans on it. I would still not recommend it though.
