Micter? That's what I said until I received it and powered it up..
Quite frankly, I STILL don't know whose responsible for manufacturing this speaker (though the prompt voice sound distinctively Asian), but honestly, I don't care. This thing sounds great! I own enough BT speakers to stock my own display, and I can honestly say this speaker outshines quite a few of mine including the BOSE Soundlink 2. Be advised, this speaker requires a constant power source (it is not a rechargeable speaker of course). However, it is small enough to where you can take it where you need to as long as there is an AC outlet. Also, be advised that speaker itself contains one button for on/off, pairing, and switching component sources.. The main functions (which aren't many as this is a simple soundbar) are located on the remote (on/off, BT, forward, backward, vol.). If you are a person who loses remotes, you might want to skip this because if you lose this one, you're done. Now, as far as sound quality goes, for a BT speaker it's pretty solid. The bass is pretty rich when connected to a TV, phone, stereo, computer, etc. With devices using a BT dongle, I did notice a difference is sound which is odd because I assumed BT was BT--even with a 4.0 dongle there was a slight drop in "thunder." Still, it is not enough to give it a lower rating. For $60, this is an amazing deal and the multiple RCA and line in connectors it comes with adds to the versatility. Definitely one of my best purchases to date on Amazon.

Broke easily
This has been a decent speaker, good sound, but broke really easily when it slipped and fell just only about 12 inches. Very disappointed in that ... Would have given 4 stars otherwise.
