Excellent raisins! Good for oldtime-home organic remedies too!
These are excellent raisins! Big, tender and juicy!!! Good for a snack but I use them as part of my old time-home organic arthritis pain and inflammation remedy, and they work perfect for that. It's called Drunken Raisins. Look it up, It's easy to do and it really works too. If done right, all the alcohol evaporates and only leaves the rations and natural ingredients from the Gin.

seriously good raisins
At 66 years old (many of those years spent as a vegetarian) let me say this...I have sampled MANY different kind of raisins - most of which are quite forgettable in the world of dried fruit - and these truly stand out and are anything but mediocre as many dried raisins can be. They are sweet and succulent and a great addition to yogurt, desserts and savory stews. I will definitely purchase again and highly recommend them.

they are quite large, and I have moved to a different brand, but the quality is very good! They are just big.

Smell and Taste Like Plastic
These look really good... plump and large... but the bag they come in feels a bit like a pool float type of plastic, and the raisins have picked up the taste of the bag. It's disgusting.It's very sad, because without the overwhelming plastic flavor, I think they'd have a pretty decent product here.

I was amazed at the size of them
Wow! These are not your ordinary golden raisins from the grocery store shelf. I was amazed at the size of them, the biggest, most juicy raisins I have ever seen. I used them for a white fruitcake I was making. So glad I tried these. Great for baking, and for snacking. You won't be disappointed.

rancid odor from oily coating
I like to snack on golden raisins, but my local groceries no longer carry the tried and true brands. These raisins were of good size but were no fun at all to eat because they have been coated in an oily substance that has a disagreeable rancid smell. I also developed painful indigestion. The ingredient list (raisins, sulfites) is clearly omitting the substance the raisin have been sprayed or otherwise coated with. I would only recommend them for baking or recipes where the odor is masked.

Terrific really jumbo raisins which I used in my bread pudding made last weekend for company. Just delicious!
