I purchased the Meeting Owl 3 (Next Gen) in 2022, and after two years of extensive and abusive use, I can confidently say it's a game-changer when it comes video conferencing. First Thing is the great Voice Tracking. The voice tracker is a standout feature. It's impressively accurate, seamlessly pinpointing who's speaking in the room. This has made our remote meetings more engaging and inclusive, as it feels like being in the room with the team. Specially since we have the owl in the front of the room. The angle of the camera is great becuase of the 360 Degree view. 360-Degree panoramic view is another aspect where the Meeting Owl 3 excels. It can comfortably handle up to three people speaking from different locations, offering a 360-degree view. This feature has been particularly beneficial in our large conference room, ensuring everyone is seen and feels part of the conversation. Super Audio Quality that despite our conference room having less-than-ideal acoustics, the audio quality has never been a concern. Everyone is heard clearly even from a distance of 17 feet. It’s remarkable how well the Meeting Owl 3 performs in a space not typically conducive to good audio. A testament to its durability, our Meeting Owl 3 has survived about nine drops and still functions perfectly. This resilience is an added bonus, especially in a busy office environment where accidents can happen. Just buy it ! My teams of been experiencing group meeting (Zoom, Teams, google) fatigue. Given the scope of our often “group project” based meetings to cover updates, we had people call in from respective offices vs meeting using our meeting rooms. We bought an OWL system to enable out teams to meet and share space with distance teams int he most functional manner The Owl system was so simples to install, plug it in, initiate the system and you are off and running on your zoom meeting. The system allows multiple people in our meeting room to be on one line, speak watch and focus on the meeting, allowing the pertinent person to be the area of focus as they present. The camera is amazing, the sound is super clear! This system made the meetings fun, functional and will allow our in person and remote teams greater ease and access to each other, a win for us in productivity and connectivity. The 360-degree camera works flawlessly, this a “must have” for meetings to enhance cross functionality. I recommend the OWL system, you will wonder why you didn’t have the OWL before, we will be buying these at each remote office.

Why I ordered this item: We do a lot of hybrid meetings at the office and the regular webcam on our conference room TV just wasn't cutting it for remote folks. This looked like it would fix that. Likes: * Setup was super fast. I had it plugged into the room laptop and in a Teams call in maybe 5 minutes, no drivers or anything weird. * The camera spins/focuses toward whoever is talking. * People at the far end of our table, and it's a long one, came through clear without anyone leaning into a speakerphone. * The 360 view lets remote folks see the whole room instead of just whoever is closest to the camera. Nice for reading body language on the whiteboard side of the room. No likes: * The video quality itself is just okay, kind of soft and grainy when it zooms in on someone talking. * This thing is kind of pricey for what's basically a USB camera/speaker combo, especially once you look at expansion mics and extra Owls for bigger rooms. * The tracking gets a little screwy if two people talk over each other. It kind of whips back and forth trying to decide who to focus on. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is built for a real conference room, not a home office. If you've got a table with more than a few people and remote folks dialing in regularly, they can see who's talking instead of staring at a fisheye shot of the whole table. For a one-on-one desk setup it's overkill.

This item was recommended by a friend. We had never used it before. It arrived quickly as promised. It was easy to set up and use. And it worked beautifully greatly improving our board meeting for those who are not able to attend in person.

OWL support replaced our original OWL3 when it began glitching (going to sleep in live hybrid meetings with 40 to 50 participants. We are having similar issues with the replacement OWL3. OWL Support is trying to be helpful, the process is taking dozens of hours. You should be prepared to invest lots of time becoming an expert on this tech!

The OWL has been a god send for our team. Where online video meetings, especially those involving multiple people in attendance in our board room, used to be a huge challenge, the OWL has brought in an element of dynamism and ease of communication that has been absolutely awesome. The setting up of the device was super easy and we had no challenges in having it up and running within a few mins of unboxing it. Software updates come through on a regular basis and we have had no issues either with its performance or with the ease of use. The ability of the system to pick the source of the voice in a room and focus on the relevant purpose is exceptional. We are already considering getting a second one to connect them for even better coverage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bring in a significant improvement to their online group meetings.

The device is easy to setup. Both the mic and speaker are pretty decent as well, but the video quality is a major disappointment. For a conferencing device at this price point, i expect much better. The video quality is about par with my laptop built in camera. That's how poor it is...

Fantastic device for webconferencing, especially if your setup is usually with a room full of people sitting around a table. Fantastic quality for video and audio and very easy to setup.

Don't waste your money, product was nothing like described. Video quality was so bad the product is unusable, I have requested a refund and been denied since the product has been opened........ how else are you supposed to test it? Avoid this store
