The picture does not really outlines the perfect detailed carved into this jade stone. I bought it for my wife as our anniversary since she and my daughter are both dragons and my little girl's middle name is Jade. My wife loved it, thank you for a great product.

The color of this piece was better than I expected and the dragon design continuing from one side to the other is beautifully carved and polished for this. The dragon is my Asian horoscope sign, so I was happy to find this.I am not as happy with the white agate bead necklace that is permanently attached with dark brown thread, which I feel takes away from the quality of the large piece, downgrading it. As far as I can see, there is no way to change this necklace or add something else to it.A red thread friendship type bracelet was included with a piece of either very light jadeite or white agate or mixed with 4 beads.The fabric box it comes in is fabric lined and all lovely with a pull thread to open and small coin end. There is a laminated business-card sized authenticity certificate mostly, I think, in Burmese and has an embossed seal. Mine came wrapped in layers of cellophane, which protects the fabric, but makes the total feel less elegant.

This was actually a gift for myself, and not my Wife. I had been collecting jade pieces of jewelry since I was a teenager. As I had received several pieces of jade crafts and jewelry from the families of several Vietnamese friends of mine in school. When on vacation in Chinatown in San Francisco, I once bought a pendant that looked remarkably like this one. It was misplaced when I moved, and I was upset about it for a long time. So I'm not just happy to own such a beautiful pendant. But that it happens to look a good bit like the one I lost so many years ago.If you're thinking about gifting this to someone else, you're picking a winner. The packaging for it is exquisite, and very memorable. Plus it comes with the relevant documentation to prove that it's authentic and of a good quality. I know that would make a big difference to me, personally, had someone bought this as a present for me. I'm also very impressed at how beautiful it looks, considering the price. I paid many times this amount for something smaller at a jewelry shop in Chinatown, and that was after I did some haggling with the shop owner. So it's a great piece, at an extremely competitive price for something beautiful and authentic.
