Good, but Begging to be Supplemented
For my taste, this product is best when a top flavor (like curry) is added to overcome the cauliflower flavor.

An Easy To Make And Tasty Replacement For Traditional Rice
Sideaway Foods Riced Cauliflower makes it incredibly easy to make and enjoy a tasty replacement for traditional rice. Simply tear a 2" opening on the top of the pouch, heat for 90 seconds and then presto - you have riced cauliflower. If you don't have access to a microwave, you can open the pouch, place it into a pan and heat until warm. The cauliflower is fluffy, light and yet filling. There is a noticeable sour/citric acid flavor but when paired with grilled pork chops and roasted vegetables, my family and I didn't notice it as prominently. It has all the benefits of riced cauliflower without the work and cleaning up necessary to make this dish. I was impressed with how much my family enjoyed this product and how they didn't miss traditional rice when I used this product in its place. It is a Vegan and Keto Friendly food. This product is ideal to keep in the pantry, take with you when you are camping or tuck into an earthquake preparation kit. The ingredients for the pouch are cauliflower, water, and malic acid. There are 2 servings per pouch with 60 calories, 0.5g Total Fat, 55mg Sodium, and 5g Protein for the entire pouch. It is a Product of Mexico. The product I received has a best by date of 11 months from the date I received it. I really enjoyed this product and finding a healthier option to traditional rice that tastes good is a winner to me.

If cauliflower can be this good, you can be anything!
These are delicious especially mixed with beans and corn. And this is coming from someone who gags at cauliflower .

I didn’t like it much
I had one for lunch yesterday, and prepared it as instructed. 90 seconds in the microwave is indeed a quick lunch. I poured into a bowl, and got a load of vegetable water in there too, which i was not expecting. And i think it should be included in the preparation instructions that you’ll need to drain it before serving, because you don’t want your *whatever sauce* you’re having it with, to be diluted by vegetable water, which is what happened to me yesterday. I put it in a bowl, dumped a load of Tuna Salad on top, and it went sort of mushy. Not as pleasant as i was anticipating, and would have been improved by there not being an inch of veg water in the bottom of my bowl.I do like cauliflower as a vegetable - roasted cauliflower is amazing, and as an English person, my cauliflower cheese has been known to make non-cauliflower people go “I didn’t know cauliflower could taste so good” and i have a recipe for roasted curried cauliflower, chickpea, and nut soup that i have made religiously every month for about 3 years now, because we get panicky if there’s none left in the freezer. I make it whenever i have guests over, and they ALWAYS want the recipe, because it’s absolutely out of this world. But this could have been so much better. These grains are flavorless, and immersed in water, and whilst if you’d known beforehand, you would have drained them following cooking. But on their own, i found them to be not very palatable. As a vehicle for other strong flavours, then yes they’ll work well, but strain them in a sieve following cooking.

Shelf-stable, and very convenient.
This is a huge timesaver. I can't believe I used to grate cauliflower by hand. I use it for keto casseroles and it's super tasty and convenient! I needed an alternative to rice when making curry. And this didn’t disappoint. It soaked up the flavours of the dish and I didn’t miss eating rice. And it was also so convenient of not having to rice the cauliflower. This is literally EVERYTHING! When you ask me what’s the breakfast, lunch or dinner sides to my meal. For those who love rice but want to lower calories and carbohydrates this is a great item for stir frying. I rinse and drain it well and then stir fry it in olive oil or butter (I use Ghee). Stir fry long enough to dry it out so its more like rice. It has a bit of an odor, but thats probably just what steamed cauliflower smells like. I've used it in place of rice in meals and I can definitely notice the difference in taste texture, but I don't really mind it.

bitter
Just open a bit, and cook for 90seconds and done! You can eat it straight from the bag. It does need salt, straight out of the bag there is no seasoning on it. It has a strange bitter taste to it which I am not use to with cauliflower rice. Overall, I do wish they would have seasoned this a bit.
