These mini-chests are great little boxes, and a good value. They can be wonderful containers for any small gifts that you think your recipient might want to keep in a box, such as essential oils, incense, jewelry, teas, seashells, et cetera. And, of course, gold coins for your pirate treasure hunt! But not good for a silk scarf that could snag on the wood, nor for edibles that might absorb chemicals from the varnish. The color and decoration looks just like the photo. When you look inside, you can see that the walls are sturdy, maybe 1/4-inch plywood with a smooth face, like birch or pine. All surfaces are stained and varnished, inside and out, even the bottom! These mini-chests should hold up for a long time, as long as you don’t drop them often or get them wet. About the craftsmanship. . . They appear to have been made quickly, by hand, and with irregularities (I deducted a star), such as small gaps, or uneven staining and varnish. Some details look glued on, but most are attached with tiny brads. The catches are screwed on, and the bottoms are stapled into the sides with long staples. That’s the least attractive detail, but you only notice if you turn them over. But they are charming, and exactly what I needed. I use the largest box (see the photos) for essential oils—2oz., 1oz., and and smaller bottles. The medium one holds stuff by my bed (sprays, eye drops). The smallest one is very small, but can hold a few sets of earrings and pendants or chains.

The boxes are adorable! They seem to be well made. I love the colors and details. The largest of the boxes is perfect for keeping my medication handy without having it sit in plain sight. I wanted something tall enough for prescription bottles but not take up a huge amount of space. The largest of the three boxes fit that need perfectly. The fact that these boxes nest with each other was a bonus.

These chests are good quality and beautiful but they are verrrrrrrrrry small. The video on the listing and reviews makes them appear a lot bigger. In the BIGGEST chest you might be able to hold a few bracelets or earrings but not much. I returned them immediately, as I need bigger chest to store my trinkets for readings.

I purchased this set for myself and then when it arrived my niece saw it and loved it. So I gifted the two smaller boxes out and I’m keeping the large box for myself. I actually ordered two other box sets and set them both back this three piece set was the best and actually the larger one fits a good amount of things inside. I really was worried because the price was so cheap but trust me these are great! Ignore how well priced this set is, because these are sturdy. They don’t smell funky and everything is in working order. The design on each box is really cute. They have a vintage look. My order shipped immediately with Prime and came next day! Definitely recommend!

I was looking for something unique to hold essential oils for my diffuser and looked at dozens of different options. I didn’t want to spend a lot, but I wanted something that could be in plain sight without looking cheap or junky. (I also had trouble finding something that would be tall enough to hold the bottles.) This was a set of 3 nested boxes for under $15 so I decided to take a chance. Wow, what a surprise! Not only are they exactly the size I needed, they are surprisingly well made and pretty. I really only needed one, but have now found places to use all 3 of them since they were better than I had expected. To be clear, they’re not fancy enough to be jewelry boxes (plain, painted wood interiors without padding) but they are super little “catch all” boxes at a really good price.

This item exceded my expectations plus more. These are great boxes, the craftmanship is quite lovely. The filigree design and concept of this item just blew me away. It is very vintage looking. The lock is made of metal and is well built overall. The brown filigree pattern looks great and sits very well in ANY room! The item itself comes with 3 different boxes. Each you will open and discover as you go. I was so delighted when I opened the first box, the second box, and then the third box. By the third one I was pleasantly surprised how adorable these were. I had to stuff them full of something right away! I decided to go with my jewelry and before I knew it, I was packaging these filled full of goods! I then decided to purchase more! I had a blast designing these filled with goodies! I was so happy with these I just keep buying more! I now collect them and keep jewelry still inside them, I have 3 in each room of the house! I also use these in my store and they are just wonderful! Very happy with these!

These are beautiful and well made boxes. I've looked at other sets like this but others we're not crafted as well and priced the same with only two boxes. So you're not going to beat what you get for this price unless you buy the boxes unfinished. I do have a couple complaints though. There is some gunk around the clasp that will need to be cleaned off. I guess it's there for oiling purposes but it's a little excess. Not a big deal. What was a big deal is that the cherry staining will absolutely rub off. It got on my hands while inspecting the boxes. It will most definitely stain anything it is set on top of. That in mind, you'll need to remedy this. I spent more time than I would have liked trying to wipe off excess stain with a damp cloth. I still plan on picking up some felt to fully cover the bottom to protect any surface these boxes are placed on and will likely line the inside as well. I highly recommend you do the same if you don't want to ruin any fabrics this is going to be sitting on. This would be a five-star purchase if the manufacturer or seller covered the bottom or, better yet, sealed the wood!

Ich war skeptisch aufgrund des Preises, aber wie so oft freue ich mich wenn die Skepsis unbegründet ist. Die Truhen sind sehr detailliert, von guter bzw hervorragender Qualität und für meine Zwecke hervorragend geeignet. Wie diesen bei mir als Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für besondere Stücke und damit alles schon aufgeräumt ist. Somit hab ich nette Akzente in meiner Wohnung gesetzt. Nin mehr als Happy und würde sie auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen

Très jolis coffrets, arrivés bien emballés et dans les temps. Ils sont conformes à ce que j'attendais et me permettent de ranger mes bijoux pour le plus grand, mes pierres de collection pour les plus petits. Je suis totalement satisfaite de cet achat et le recommande sans hésitation.
