Good product, fits securely onto my wet/dry vac hose and seals tightly against the 3/4" drain line outside. Pulled out all the backed up water and gunk without blowing out the lines or making a mess. Now I use it few times a year as preventative maintenance.

I'm a single mom, and recently, my AC smelled like dirty socks. I had an HVAC guy come out, and he told me everything was fine. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. After googling, I suspected a clogged drain line. I tried other methods, but this wet vac attachment is AMAZING. It's super easy to use! I hooked it up to my shop vac, and within seconds, it pulled out a bunch of buildup for the drain line. My AC started working normally again almost right away. Highly recommend!

This is the way to solve a clogged drain line for your water heater pan or your air conditioner, and it's not bad. It will work better if you have a 1" PVC line, (but it doesn't work at all out of the box with CPVC, which a lot of AC in our area uses) It costs about $5 and the time it takes to get some adapters at the hardware store to make this useful for a condensate line, and in my case, it didn't clear that, but I think it did loosen it enough that some vinegar and bleach could do the job. On the water heater drain pan line though, it pulled everything out and had it running clear in less than a minute. For the money, they ought to include a couple of CPVC to PVC adapters - I can see someone returning this because it doesn't really hold up to the promise of fitting most lines. Still, it did what I bought it for, and I plan to use it a couple of times a season, and I predict that it will save a lot of misery over time, so amortized over the next few years, it's a bargain.

This little device makes it so easy to clean out your AC condensate drain, especially here in hot Florida where “gunk” builds up in the line. Avoid $200 service calls by simply connecting one end to shop vac and the other to condensate drain line outside the house. Shop vac will suck any gunk out of the line to clear backups. Durable, connects easily and fits just about any shop vac and drain line.

Came in a timely manner and I’m satisfied with the results, wish they had this tool 40 years ago.
