well made, nice and easy to use

I bought this scale over a year ago. First off, It’s still working, and it’s just as accurate as it was the very first day I used it. After countless drops from hanging the hook on my belt loop. Or leaving it in my car in Oklahoma’s hundred degree plus summer days. I also work in the produce delivery industry. So I use it all the time weighing stuff at work. I still also haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. So this scale has received more abuse, and use than any other fishing scale. I think it’s very easy and simple to use. The only negative I can really say about it is. The tape measure is pretty difficult to get out, and use. Some complain on here that the hook is hard to get “unhooked” from its place on the back of the scale. If you will put the hook it’s holding spot on the back, and remove it a few times. It gets a lot easier to remove after a few times of doing that. But other than the tape measure problem, I love it!!! I sure wish everything else in this world would work just as good as this scale works!!!!! I will be buying another one when this one does finally wear out.*** UPDATE****I just purchased a second one. The first one was involved in an unfortunate auto accident, and was submerged in water. So I had to replace it. Though no fault of the scale.

The scale looks very good. I appreciate that the company showed the quality pieces that they use inside of their scale on their website. That sold me. The molded plastic body and the handle both look and feel very solid. The only drawback to the scale is the battery cover. It's thin and doesn't feel sturdy.Yes, they even included a tiny screwdriver to open the battery cover! It's a nice touch. I wish there was a place on the scale to hold the mini-screwdriver. The cover screw attaches to a metal sleeve imbedded in the plastic. It's not just screwed into plastic. But when I opened it, the screw that holds the cover fell out. I was being careful, but not careful enough. I found it, but if I was changing batteries in a boat or in a cabin, it would have been lost for good, and I would be putting duct tape on the back of my scale to hold the cover on.I wish the battery cover had a rim around the edge and had a water resistant silicon gasket. It would be stronger and maybe moisture resistant. The battery cover on my unit is flexed a bit and doesn't fit perfectly flush. I hope moisture doesn't get inside.The display is very bright, backlit green. It looks great indoors, but I didn't try it outdoors in the sun. I lifted a 5 gallon bottle of water and it felt solid. It seemed to give a good reading. When it stabilizes, it beeps and holds the reading until you push the tare button.The mini tape measure goes to about 33 inches. It feels a bit cheap. If I pulled it any more, it would probably break. But it's definitely handy. I hope it holds up.Overall, I'm glad I bought it. But honestly, that will depend on if it still works well ten years from now, like an actual spring scale would. Or at least five years? (How about a lifetime warranty?)

Bought this as a fathers day gift and it seemed to bring him good luck! The handle is a bit floppy but it folds up easy to put in the tackle box! Works well, accurate! The built in tape measure it pretty cool and handy too we recommend!

Works perfectly and easy to use. Nice big numbers and everything I need for a good price. I'm using it as a luggage scale as well.

It's solid construction and accurate to a tee. I like how it has a hold and peak weight function as that is critical for my application. I'd say the price point is on the money for the great quality of this scale. I used it to calibrate my torque wrenches.

This is way better than my other cheap scales. It is much bigger and stronger. It can hold big objects! I use it with multiple purposes. Also a great tool to weight luggages and other stuff. Very big hook can hang big object. I also love the weight capacity it has. The handle is very neat and comfortable to grab. The screen has light, so that I can see the digits at night as well. This helps me fishing at night. A very useful and needed product. I would recommend it to my friends as well.
