Best rucksack I have ever owned
World renowned as the go-to hillwalking/ wildcamping rucksack and absolutely brilliant bit of kit. Best on the market in terms of weight, comfort, and breathability. Also have an Osprey Rook which is bulletproof but basic and one of Ospreys less comfortable sacs. I also have a lowe alpine daypack which is bombproof and comfy, but neither of them come close to the comfort of the Exos! Carried 14kg over 2 days on a 65km walk in mid Wales and i was truly shocked at how the pack managed to somehow make the 14kgs feel more like 8 or 9! I think the waist strap is what does the magic, so be sure to measure yourself properly and make sure you order the right size pack for you. That's SO important.I was between the sizes so could have gone for either but opted for the L and it's perfect. Very chuffed.

Ideal
I have just used this for my Cumbria Way hike, which was five days. Pack was amazing; light, comfortable, strong. Hip pockets were good size, fitted my iPhone 11 no problem. stretch pockets are strong, managed to get everything in by separating tent poles into side pocket. Great pack looking forward to many more hikes.

Great backpack.
What a great backpack for a 6 day hike in Grand Canyon back country. Loved the fit and multiple adjustments always being able to keep it comfortable. So glad I returned the rigid one and got this. Carried all I needed and balanced well keeping to center of my body. Hope to use it again.

Less than 3 lbs!
I've been a huge fan of Osprey for a long time. Their products are always well thought out and impeccably made. They offer a lifetime warranty and it isn't just marketing, their products back it up.This pack is really incredible. It includes everything you would expect from an Osprey pack but without the on-the-fly adjustments. The good news is that while it can't be adjusted in seconds, this pack is crazy light. Compared to the Atmos AG 50 pack it is literally a pound and a half lighter. (It is worth noting that a portion of the weight is the lack of a rain cover.)On the first time out with the pack it does mean you have a little more stopping and adjusting but once the fit is locked in, it is pretty fantastic to know that you are either lighter on the trail or you have room to "splurge" on your weight just a little on something else.I love how the pack both feels connected to your body but at the same time allows airflow between your back and the pack. It isn't quite the fit of the AG packs but still really fantastic and better than my old pack by far.One great feature of the pack is the access to pockets and storage when you are on the trail. Being able to stuff your water bottles on the side is great. I also appreciate the larger hip belt pockets that are actually large enough to hold my max iPhone. I also like the accessibility of the water bottle pockets when I'm not using a hydration bladder. If you are weight conscious and counting ounces this is a really fantastic pack. Overall very happy with the "Osprey Exos 48 Men's Backpacking Backpack". It is really a fantastic next-generation pack.
