Skull & Co. Skin, CQC and FPS Thumb Grips Set Joystick Cap Analog Stick Cap for Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Controller - Black, 3 Pairs (6pcs)

I previously bought and reviewed the Skull & Co thumb grips for the PlayStation Portal. These JoyCon grips are my 2nd purchase from this company. Very happy with the product. Very sturdy, thick and textured rubber just like their Portal thumb grips. I picked black over red and the covers blend in with the JoyCon sticks. They are a 1-piece rubber grip. These make the Switch thumbsticks more comfortable to use. They don’t spin around or move at all (for now, over time we will see). I can aim a lot better in games like Borderlands or Bioshock since these grips extend the thumbsticks. I use a PowerA travel pro slim case with my Switch and the CQC and skin grips fit without squishing when I close the case. I’m not sure about the FPS grip — the case when closed might be squishing down on the thumbstick. I was about to buy those cute, themed thumbstick covers (teddy bear or Tom Nook/leaf ones) and I’m happy I went with these Skull & Co ones instead. The cute thumbstick covers are just covers while these Skull & Co are covers and grips that extend thumbstick height. Same price, too, and you only get 4 cute thumbstick covers versus 6 Skull with differing heights. Just like my Portal, I use CQC on the left and FPS on the right.

I would give it 10 stars it I could, I soooo happy with the overall experience that I can't barely say how much I love it without Sounding like a bot XD So I gonna tell my experience. I bought them because they were the only ones that have that little soft bend that merges with your fingertips and feels soft and nice to the touch. Seeing pictures, I was expecting something rough, but it feels way softer than it seems. I made a fully customized on my switch, and the part I was most hyped about was putting this thing on and they didn't let me down. They were as good as I could have thought. I didn't buy them just for the touch, I also bought them so my Switch would look better. So, if you are questioning if they will look good on an bended grip, then yes, they would. And that fps pro (Idk the name xD) Things are also incredible. I mean dont get my wrong is not like that they feel better in everything but in totk for example, you put the grip you already have on that Joy-Con on the chunky thing to have the double grip, and it's amazing. A chunky double grip on the right for better aiming and I don't even want to go back to how I was playing. It makes the base joystick feel like a cheaper copy. The only bad thing is that sometimes you have to remove the right grip to play games that don't use the right joystick (since it makes it harder to reach the ABYX buttons). But that's barely a problem, since they are good quality, and after all the times I've put them on and off, they still feel like new. A must buy in my opinion

Using these on a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. Fits like a glove and adds way more contact on the joystick. Very comfortable. Does not impede movement or limit the range of motion. I was incessantly wanting to keep the OD green thumb grips I first purchased, but since they’re for ps5/ps4 controllers, they would fall off or spin around the joystick. I installed them over the black grips and it’s a much better fit. Kind of the best of both worlds. Slightly taller, larger grip on top, and I get to use my green grips on my controller and my Retroid! This would be my second purchase from this place and I highly recommend them.

They are good quality but feel big, falls out constantly. A little disappointing. Will find a way to make it work. I like how it feels.

Currently there are SO many gaming handhelds coming out, but most of them have Nintendo switch joycon joysticks and that is not the best experience. Though it keeps the devices compact, it is not very comfortable to use for hours at a time. Enter Skull & Co. Thumb Grips... These work on most of the handhelds where the joystick isn't recessed into the device, and if they are recessed then it effects the range of motion and makes the joysticks unusable. When the joysticks aren't recessed, these are SO nice to use! I was having a mediocre time with the sticks on my new Aokzoe A1 Pro, where they felt alright but you could tell there was some room for improvement. I added the CQC Elite thumb grips and now the joysticks feel very similar to my Xbox Elite controllers joysticks! That is an insane improvement for the cost of these joystick caps. These are compatible with quite a few of my devices due to being used for Nintendo switch joysticks. What I have tested them on so far: Aokzoe A1 Pro - Fully compatible AYN Odin Pro - Not compatible (fits but joysticks are too recessed) Nintendo Switch & Lite - Fully compatible (obviously, they are made for this) PSVita - Not compatible (joysticks are too small) So all-in-all, if these are compatible with your device and your joysticks are lacking, these are an incredible improvement. They won't fix all of your issues with a joystick, but they can make them more comfortable to play and help with the poor range of motion that most joysticks in the style of a Nintendo joycon suffer from. Highly recommended!

The default joysticks on the ayaneo air plus are effectively unusable for any precision or first-person aiming. Thankfully, they’re the same size as the Nintendo switch sticks, thus making this accessory almost perfect. It’s not quite as good as the steam deck or Xbox controller joysticks, but still a massive improvement especially at this accessory’s low price point. The sticks are slightly recessed so the accessory WILL lightly touch the case but I don’t find any loss in the range of motion. Surprisingly, the device still fits in a Nintendo switch carrying case. One minor downside is that the face buttons are harder to reach now that the right joystick is taller, but I find this tradeoff more than worth it as it enables so many new types of games to be playable on this device.

I went with just the raised caps (FPS Master). The textured rubber doesn't look as sleek as a XBOX One controller, but it definitely feels like it belongs on the joysticks. Once they are applied properly, they feel as comfortable as a modern controller should. The movement radius is upped just enough to give you a significant amount of control of finer joystick movements when you're playing Fortnite or Mario Odyssey. And it just feels comfortable. Ironically, the Joy Con grip accessory that came with the console didn't feel comfortable to me. My thumbs felt confined to the small structure of the grip, and they started to cramp anytime I had to move the joysticks down for a longer period of time, which is the case when you need to aim downwards when playing Enter the Gungeon. These thumb caps solved that problem easily by giving my thumbs more height while making the joysticks feel lighter to move around. There's no going back once you find the right thumb caps for your Joy Cons. This one is the one for me.

Un must have pour tout possesseur de Switch. En plus de protéger le plastique du joystick d'origine qui peu s'abimer rapidement, ces embouts confère une sensation bien plus agréable ! Mention spéciale pour l'embout "CQC Elite" avec son centre incurvé et le grip sur les bords, et qui a mon sens devrait inspirer Nintendo pour leur joystick de base. 10€ ce n'est rien par rapport au prix de la console et pour le niveau de confort que cela apporte vous pouvez les acheter les yeux fermés ! À voir comment ils tiendront dans le temps, même si a ce prix là je ne pense pas qu'ils pourront me décevoir.

Have purchased for both PS4 controllers and Nintendo Switch controllers. Fantastic thumb grips, great quality and reasonably priced. Super easy to install and fit nice and snug, seems like good quality plastic where other cheaper brands are very "rubbery" and thus get very dirty and sticky easily. Highlight recommend, I won't have a console controller without these thumb grips anymore :)

Dopo mesi che le ho posso finalmente scriverne. Qualità alta come sempre la SKull&Co ci ha abituato. E' vero che in una scatola con 3 diversi grip alla fine ne ho sempre e solo uno fisso e gli altri non li uso mai ma potrebbe essere una buona scusa per spendere meno e dividerli con un amico. Aderenza perfetta, non si muovono di un millimetro. Ottime al tatto, consigliate!
