The taste is like a semi-sweet candied almond with the almonds embeded within the crisp and crunchy baked dough. Definitely better than the Delallo's, Biscotti Brothers and Nonnis. They are small, so I can't say how many are in the bag. I always buy the large 8.8oz bag. You'll never know how they are, until you try them for yourself!
