First things first I must say that the Owen the owner has just about the best customer service support. Just keep in mind if you live in the USA you most likely will have to leave a message do to the time difference and they do return your call ASAP. I had an issue with one of the clips and Owen sent out the replacement right away I received it in just a couple of days. Owen great job Thank you!I am have to say that after using this cam now for almost 2 weeks that I am positive that this was the best choice of what was offered at the time on Amazon. The quality of the cam itself is very very good it's one tough son of a gun, with only one thing it realy needs and that is screen protectors for both the front lens area and the lcd. I made my own, just use the film protectors that come with it and use them as templates, and don't forget to make the holes for the mikes, thats right not 1 but 2 mikes.I had bought both 1 of the 32 gig and 2 of the 64 gig now I think this is VERY IMPORTANT for someone who is a police officer or in a field where time is of the essence. When this cam is not powered on, but you run into that surcomstanc when you need the cam up and running and recording you can be sure that in 2 seconds your cam will be recording video. With just a single touch of any of the modes this cam is off and running.The quality of the videos are great although recoding at the highest resolution and high movie quality setting you will eat up gigs of space. I have found that an 11 minute recoding runs almost 900 megs nearly a gig.So I tested it at 1280 x 720 and mid movie quality and got that 11 minute video down to about 285 megs and the quality of the video is still very good, I was quite impressed. This thing last me a solid 7 hours. But if you plan on using it alot for night vision you may want to purchase a back up. OH THE CAT LOVES THE LASERThe night vision on this is very clear you can easily make out your subject at 20 feet the recoding quality is awesome.Now it does take pictures and records great audio if thats what you want it for but really this is overall an outstanding body cam. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would highly recommend this unit.It is my understanding after speaking with Owen that they are still working the Push to talk and GPS .Great work Owen! I like the camera - it's robust and does a good job. It's a bit heavy, so you need to attach it to something stiff or you'll get a lot of downward facing pictures. I'm not thrilled with the lack of replies from the vendor - I was told that I could have a digital copy of the manual if I requested it... and it's been weeks and weeks... no reply at all. Nov 4, Dec 1, Dec 10... no reply whatsoever. Contacted through their email address as well as the Amazon feedback. Crickets. Not thrilled.January 10, still no response.Anybody else have a digital (pdf) copy of the instructions?July 4 2019, still no response.Retrieved camera from foam storage container I keep it in - the clip broke itself while in storage. Plastic cracked. Sent email to support, we shall see if they reply this time.October 30, 2019 - increased rating to five stars. New support employee seriously stepped up Safevant's image. Unusually attentive and customer focused. Repair parts have been shipped and the electronic version of the manual has been provided.

This is hands down a great camera- I am a Project Manager for a large Construction Company. I have ran into situations that are “he said, she said” with customers, designers, and sub-contractors. Or with just different people that have been on my job sites. I bought this unit as a cover my tail device.I have used it on my job sites already while having meetings with my subs. It has already paid for itself by documenting my conversations with anyone on site. The sound is great, the picture is amazing, and it works like it should. I believe the battery could be a little better, but you can charge it in your car, so not really a problem.I get about 6 hrs of standby time without recording, but again. You can charge it in your car.Amazing body camera hands down. Easy to use, and I love all of its features.

I got this for work and used it about a week before changing over to the MIUFLY body camera. The SAFEVANT camera worked okay. The picture was fine but the audio was a little rough - the actual sound was okay but it also would record the beeps and camera noises and those were harsh and abrupt. The instructions were fairly easy to follow despite being written in passable Engrish. Despite using Loop Mode, I didn't fill the internal memory after a week of 10 hour days. Download was slow. It took almost an hour to download a weeks worth of video from the camera. (103 flies totaling nearly 40G) The battery lasts about 7 hours at 750p. The resolution is quite good at 750, you really don't need higher. I used a battery pack to recharge the camera during lunch and usually got 9-10 hours that way. Build quality was fine, though I wish it had a rotating clip like the MIUFLY does. I found the buttons hard to differentiate. They are rounded and flush with the body, without a lot of distinction between them. It was easy to hit the wrong button - like taking a snapshot when you wanted to pause the video. I was annoyed that there was no mute function on the video. It was either sound always on, or always off. If you wanted to record sound you could, but without video. This function defeats the purpose of the bodycam. Also, the highlight function did not work correctly on my unit. Supposedly, when you press the button marked with a star, it highlights the video as being important - a useful feature so you don't have to scroll through endless videos looking for one in particular. But for me it only ever worked the one time, then never again. I was able to highlight one video. That's it. And there's no way to remove the highlight once you put it on the video. I am assuming that was some kind of a glitch. Overall I think it is a camera lacking a few key features. A body redesign and some software tweaks would help immensely. A charging base would be a perk.
