I usually use ones from hospital but ran out. These are a great alternative. Sturdy material and good storage size.

Decent bags. Last a week which is when I change them out. Only downside is the strap is too big for the little slits and tears them out. Had to use duct tape to patch lol.

We don’t use the elastic leg strap, as it suggests, so I’d prefer to not get straps & price them less. We use a new one frequently. Our routine is to shower weekly & change the urostomy pouch, so at the same time, change out the nephrostomy bag too. We are very concerned about no infections, and probably this is over the top - but the cleanliness is working for us.

These collection bags are terrible. The tubing kinks at the bag connection easily. The drain port is occasionally bind’s giving the impression it’s fully closed when it’s not. I ordered them in a pinch but would not recommend them or buy them again

I became my mom's caretaker when she was diagnosed with a lymphoma tumor that was compressing her uterer. She had to have a nephrostomy to drain her kidney. The medical supply stores do not carry this kind where it has a valve to prevent backflow and a twist on attachment. They were easy to change. Draining was pretty easy.

The collection bag itself is comfortable, softer than other other brands and adequate for use, however the tubing is too flimsy & kinks up a lot, causing drainage blocking which can lead to painful backflow and possible infection. Unfortunately because of this, I have to go back to my old brand that I received initially in the hospital.
