I got this for Christmas in 2023, it is now 2025, and this device has served me well. It has survived, two years of near-constant music/audiobooks, it has survived a dunk in a bucket of water, for about 1 minute, (I had to keep it in rice for a day) A year without a screen protector, and I'm not the most careful person around. It has been lost twice, found, and survived lots of water, and cold, and I have accidentally dropped it thousands of times. And after all of this, it has served me well. I have now retired it, but I absolutely loved having a device, as I'm not allowed to have a phone. For the amount of money I paid, it was definitely more than worth the $40.

After just 2 weeks the power/action button fell off making the Ge-Me unusable. Took it to repair shop and they put it back together. 3 days later button fell out again, this time in two pieces. Repair shop once again put t together, but we have very little faith that it will hold for long. Did not buy warranty because of expense. Next time will try different brand. Never Ge-Me again.

Great sound from better quality earbudsThe stuff they have is lame at bestThey sound like they are a little bit too far away from your ears and the sound is not as bad but they are what they put in the boxI don’t know if it’s capable of being a cell phone no dialing app or anything like that on the phone but google voice works great

Our kids have been asking for phone for quite a while, so this year we decided we'll find something that could ACT as a phone. I came across these read some of the reviews and they seemed ok. So we took and chance and we were impressed. I mean no they aren't phones but to a 6 and 8 year old they are and that made us happy. They can play games! To be honest that's all they wanted "phones" for lol. But it's great tho, has parental controls tou can adjust to your preference, and you also add apps that allow your kids to talk and message with family and friends thru wifi.

Very good product. My granddaughter loves it she can watch her videos on kids you tube. Has great parental controls and I can even track where the phone is.

Setup was easy! I got this for my 4year old niece as a Christmas gift. She love watching YouTube and playing games. This device so far is serving its purpose and I would recommend it for parents with younger children who want phone but aren’t quite old enough for a phone.

Horrible product. Charging port stops charging about 3 months after use. This is our second one and it has currently stopped charging again. First one stopped after a month. Got replacement sent and now have a very unhappy kid again because this can't be used on long trips.
