Faux locs crochet hair

Great quality crochet locs! They’re lightweight, easy to install, and look very natural. The length and color were exactly as pictured, and I’ve already gotten so many compliments. Definitely a great buy!

Locs were soft and easy to install. Plenty come in package for affordable price will purchase again! I was able to dye mine black last minute and it took the color well! 10/10!!!

These locs are cute, I actually have them installed right now. They didn’t have any scent and I hot watered them so they stretched effortlessly. They are easy to install however I don’t know if its the wrapping hair I used but it sheds a little bit.

The hair is good, but they are different sizes. Some were more tightly coiled than others, so it was harder to get some braids tucked inside. There is no smell, they aren't overly shiny and the length was accurate. I will say, they are HEAVY. Now idk if it's because my actual hair is long and dense so I needed to add a lot of locs or if the hair is just heavy. I used 50 locs.

This was my first time trying soft locs, and I bought these based on all the great reviews—and I’m so glad I did! I had my hair crocheted, and after detangling my natural hair, I made sure it was fully dry before oiling my scalp to prevent any flakiness. My stylist braided my natural hair in simple individual braids, leaving enough space at the scalp to crochet the soft locs through. Trust me, this hair is super lightweight, even at 30 inches! It doesn’t drag you down or feel itchy at all. (Pro tip: ALWAYS oil your scalp before and after installation—hair care is important!) The process took a bit of time—over five hours, with one 30-minute break my hair stylist and I took—since you have to braid your hair first BEFORE crocheting the locs in. Yes, it’s time-consuming, but it’s absolutely worth it! 😁 Plus, there’s no smell to the hair, and I added some African hair oil for shine, though it’s already naturally shiny on it’s own. The hair bounces beautifully and is perfect for adding accessories. I suggest getting smaller accessories so they stay in place better. I also tied small knots in some of my soft locs to keep the accessories from slipping off. The hair is thick (in a good way!), and each pack provides plenty of strands, but keep in mind that results may vary depending on your hair type. For reference, I used seven packs of 30inch, each containing 12 strands, so I ended up with about 84 strands in total as advertised. After finishing, I had just a few strands left over (about 10 strands leftover) My hair is shaved on the sides and back, with hair only on the top, yet it was still a time-consuming process, but so so worth it! Overall, I highly recommend this hair—you’ll love it! 😍❤️ P.S.: I shared my experience to help anyone confused about doing soft locs. If you’re looking for a thicker, dread-like appearance, consider using Afro springy hair. You can crochet it into the locs and wrap it around the strand for a fuller look. Just keep in mind that if you’re doing an ombré or mixing colors, the final look may vary depending on how you blend it. You’re welcome! ☺️
