Relatively easy to do.
I say relatively easy because I was replacing the one that was original to the house, built around 1970 in an unincorporated part of the county, so, really lax on the codes. Had to put two 45degree bends in the drain pipe to line it up. And the original water lines were all hand bent to get them to fit the original one. Shark Bites and Pex with marine glue to fix those. Once all that and the wall was fixed, This just DROPED RIGHT IN, no fuss, no muss. Easiest part of the process. Never have figured out why there's a "drain" hole in the top of it though.

Not the quality of more established brands, but usable
This little valve box definitely isn't the same quality as those you'll pay twice as much for, but it still gets the job done. My particular need was to provide a water hook-up for a second washer in our newly constructed basement. I decided to try it because I only needed a way to connect hoses and really didn't even need the on/off valve function since I was placing a folding countertop over the top of the washer & dryer and needed a couple of remote valves as the valve box would be inaccessible. We always shut water off to a washer when not in use, so I plumbed for a couple of "remoted" ball valves in the wall, hidden under a little door, so the valves in this box are always in the "open" position. So why the 3-stars? Well, the box is very thin plastic and the mounting approach is pretty flimsy. Getting it securely installed prior to drywalling required some custom mounting. That was easy enough, but the extra effort is something to be aware of. Also, with the thin plastic, I needed to reinforce the valve mounting. If you have copper plumbing and connect the valves using screw-on copper fittings rather than sweated connections (I personally have had mixed results sweating connections on ball valves without doing any damage to them), the process will involve threading the valves into pre-positioned fittings rather than installing the fittings first and then soldering to them. Easy enough, but the base of the valves is very small and there's no washers, so the valves almost want to pull themselves thru the thin plastic of the box. So I added a couple of inexpensive threaded plastic nut/washer after-market parts I found locally to the base of the valves before reinstalling them, which made for a really secure and stable mount. Connecting the 2" ABS drain was straightforward, but there's no lip at the bottom of the plastic box, so a minor drip at a hose connection won't be directed down the drain, it'll leak over the front edge of the box and find it's way into the drywall. An easy fix with a bead of urethane caulking to create a little lip seemed like a good idea just in case, and it's hidden by the snap-in-place frame that came with the box.Given these three issues, it's hard to give the box more than a mid-level rating. However, it's less expensive than the others out there, and it provides for the intended function if you're ok with the above flaws.
