The Display: The standout feature of this clock is the dimmer function. You wouldn't think that one alarm clock could be so different from another, but this one is. After a year of frustration with a rival's clock, I physically threw it and its multifunction buttons into the trash. Each button had like two different functions depending on what mode it was in! AAAAAAAAARG! After finding this online and reading about it's easy to use features, I said "You are the one for me!". I was right. The instruction book was easy, but I highly recommend clicking on the sites video option, and just listening to the whole video. It's only 5 minutes, but it will show you before you even purchase this clock how easy it is to use, and how well it is designed. The clock is smaller than I expected, but the numbers are quite large and easily dimmed by one simply wheel that actually says Dimmer! There's one wheel on the other side, all by itself that says Volume. So easy. The front has the on/off button on either side to turn one or both alarms on or off. Then the back has a few buttons to set the time (easy), to set one or both alarms (easy), just like it should be. I was wondering if I was going to miss not waking up to music or not. Not! My old clock got lousy reception, and the music was half static. With this clock you have 5 choices for wake up sounds, and I chose soft piano music. No static, just nice. It has a couple alarms, and birds chirping but the piano was for me. My old clock had this annoying feature that if you didn't immediately reach over to turn the alarm off it would increase in volume. Argh. This does not. I has three AAA batteries handy as backups which is cheap money. I honestly do not have one negative thing to say about this product. So much clock, such a little price.

My old alarm clock died after five years or so; it was fine except that you couldn't adjust the volume of the only alarm: a very loud beep. I duct-taped a piece of foam over the speaker to muffle it. This clock checks all my boxes: adjustable brightness, adjustable volume, dual alarms, big snooze button that's hard to miss when you're sleepy. The only buttons on top are the snooze and the smaller plus and minus buttons, used for setting time. They also (along with any of the settings buttons on the back) will stop the alarm (i.e., not snoozing) without turning it off: it will sound again the next morning. I personally need the dual alarms because my wife is on a random schedule so that we sometimes use alarm one, and sometimes alarm two. The easy buttons on the side edges let you turn on and off the alarms. Or you can use the switches in the back to set the alarms for all week (what I use), or weekdays only, or weekends only: in other words you can set alarm one for weekdays and alarm two for weekends. Without having to reset the alarms by hand. When you hit the snooze, the alarm indicator for the sounding alarm blinks to indicate it is snoozed: convenient reminder if you get up and walk away before it sounds again. The three-AAA cell battery backup does in fact operate the alarm while on battery power: this is a great feature. Not only does it save the time and alarm settings if you lose power in the night, it will still wake you on time if you don't notice the power loss (unfortunately, because I use a CPAP, I get an abrupt rude notice that the power is off!). My old clock had a DST switch; this doesn't, but the setting function is so quick and intuitive that the extra ten seconds twice a year won't matter. The USP charging port is great: I can charge my phone, but away from the clock: the clocks with the built-in pad look like I would knock the phone off trying to shut off the alarm. Note that I place great emphasis on being able to use this clock while half asleep. In fact, the only improvement I would suggest would be to put something tactile on the Snooze button: some bumps, or maybe a slight raised ridge around the edge, to emphasize the difference between it and the other buttons. I am very pleased with this clock. It is inexpensive, but does all the clock things I want it to do.

I love this clock, it looks nice but the best part is that the screen is fully dim-able, sometimes it sticks a little but if I turn the wheel quickly the display is fully off. The alarm sound is also on a slider so I can decide how loud or quiet I want, and you can set two different alarms and program them based on days of the week. It was better than I expected!

Very nice overall. I needed another level of redundancy to make sure I get out of bed on time, especially for work (Highway Construction) as I leave as early as 3:00 AM sometimes and getting a full night’s sleep is rarely a possibility. It’s a good balance of being loud enough to wake me up but not the rest of my family. I set alarms on my phone but sometimes I manage to shut them off unconsciously. I also placed this alarm on a dresser that I have to get out of bed and walk to shut it off. It has served me well so far. It’s very easy to set up the time and alarms. I like the customization options for the alarms. Happy to have the option of using batteries to save the memory and still function in case the power is out. It has all the functions I could ask for. The display can be dialed from very bright to completely off. I picked the red colored display option mostly for nostalgia of the alarms my parents had that had the red display and you could put a 9 volt battery in. I’m glad I purchased this and my only regret is that I didn’t get it years ago.

I have now bought three of these alarm clocks and absolutely love them way more than my name brand alarm clocks. I first bought this in white, then bought the faux wood , and love them both and just bought the black one. All with the white LED numbers. These are great alarm clocks but I am using two for just a clock on a night stand. Big numbers, clean modern looking clock, easy to set, and they are not nearly as deep as any other alarm clocks I have had. Great to keep one near a TV for time. The face of the clock is almost exactly the size of an iPhone 15 in height and width. And it is maybe 2” deep total. They also come with a warranty card , so I think these are the best alarm clocks and at a great price. I am including photos of the white and faux wood clocks. The black one is on the way now, so no photos of that color yet. Update 5/31/26, I bought the black one and now have these all over the house. I use them for clocks as well as alarm clocks. Love that they come in different colors and that you can dim the LED to fit the room . I put one below the TV’s too , so you can see time while watching tv. Great clocks and very well built and designed. Easy to program and they have battery backup capability if you put in 3 aaa batteries.

I like the large display, the fact that it is dimmable, and that it is available in red so looking at it in the dark doesn't ruin your night vision. There are many shortcomings, though: 1) The push buttons that toggle the alarms off/on are on the front and require very little pressure to trigger, so if anything bumps the front of the clock you might be late for work tomorrow. 2) When the power goes out the screen remains on at (nearly) the usual brightness, causing the battery to run down quickly. A Sharp alarm clock I bought 40 years ago was smart enough to turn off the screen and use the battery only for tracking time and producing the alarm sound so it could go through a several-day power outage without missing an alarm. 3) When the battery runs out, your alarm settings are lost. A tiny bit of flash memory could have avoided this annoyance. 4) There is no indication when the clock is running on battery (screen dimmed/off or flashing warning light), so if the power plug gets knocked loose from the outlet you won't know until the battery dies and the clock loses your settings. 5) This clock does NOT have the ability to set itself from the atomic clock radio signal. My previous Timex clock (no longer made) had that and it was great -- plug it in and it sets the time itself and handles daylight saving time automatically. All the clocks I saw on Amazon that had that feature either had a white display (ruins night vision) or users reported weird bugs (e.g., screen going blank for 20 minutes every night while it searches for the radio signal). 6) Having a USB-A charging port is nice, but USB-C (faster) instead or in addition would be better.

This alarm clock had everything I was looking for. Although there were a couple of things I didn’t realize that would be an issue. The way the display reads. When I am just waking up and glance at the time I don’t know what I’m looking at. It could be hieroglyphics for all I know. The alarm indicator lights above and below the colon really throw me off. Also each number is made up of bars which is normal but the spaces in between are a little too large. When I look at it half asleep I don’t know what time it is. I like how big the display is and thought it would be easier to read but it isn’t. I can read my old alarm clock much better. The snooze button isn’t as obvious to the touch when half asleep. It could have had more alarm sounds but that wasn’t much of a gripe for me. The display and snooze button are issues that I’m having with this clock. Edit: I was impressed that the company reached out to me via email because of this review. They offered me a full refund or a new clock which was nice. I will keep the clock. It is better than using my cellphone as an alarm clock. Another thing that I didn’t realize that is causing an issue for me is that the time display is too large. I thought this was a good thing but actually when I wake up and squinting the time display is too large and not fully viewed. This may not be a problem for others but for me it is. That said, I’ve had the clock months now and it works good otherwise. Edit #2 - So the company for this alarm clock were very persistent. I didn’t reach out to them but they wanted to give me a refund or a new clock. Since the clock itself wasn’t adequate for my personal liking, I opted for the refund and got to keep the clock. I didn’t have to return it. I never had a company go so out of the way to basically give me a free product. I have to say the customer service is exceptional so I will go from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Relógio excelente. Ele possui 5 sons de alarme. Dois são bons e agradáveis. 3 sons são horríveis. Mas é um ótimo relógio.

Love this alarm clock for several reasons. Dimmable so it keeps your room dark. Dual alarms so you have one for the week and one for the weekend. Gradual volume alarm and we love the birds chirping to wake you up slowly. Had an issue with it at low dimmer setting and the seller responded and helped out right away. Great product from an excellent seller!
