Works great when you don't have time to get a fresh bell pepper. Just add a little bit to soup, chili, and after a while they soften and are delicious.

They smell so good, then the taste test. I use them mostly in my morning omelet. I have both rehydrated them before using or just toss them into the scrambled eggs. They add a rich flavor but there is a little crunch to them if not rehydrated. I love having them in the pantry. I can't always get to the store for fresh ones, so these are great. Will purchase again!

I use these in a clone recipe for those Good Seasons Italian dressing packets, and once I pulsed these in a food processor, they worked out well for the recipe. The only drawback is that for the money, you don't get much. Next time I will dehydrate my own and save the money. This is good if you're in a pinch, however.

I use very little bell peppers, so this is a life-saver. If I buy fresh bell peppers, some always ends up as a mystery fluff-ball in the veggie drawer of the fridge. I don't eat them fresh and only use for cooking soups, etc. They work very well for that. The flavor is just like fresh after cooking. No big chunks, just looks and tastes like finely diced red bell pepper after cooking.

I specifically purchase this to use in my grinder spice jars. However, it is somewhat moist and pliable. I tried to dry it further in my dehydrator but it did not work. I will use it in soups and stews but it does not work in a grinder.
