Great Protective Equipment
Daughter wears as a fastpitch pitcher. She says the shirt can be a little scratchy by the seems, but she is able to pitch, hit and play the field with the guard in just fine. Gives her good piece of mind on comebackers and bad hops. As a parent, makes me feel much better too.

Finally allowed my chest to heal!
I bought this for roller derby. I took a hit to the chest from someone twice my size, and 5 months later it was still very painful to have any pressure on my sternum. I thought I would have to delay starting my 2020 season because of it, but then I bought this and honestly it’s a life saver. The way it molds to your body and covers your whole upper chest meant I could take an impact and even sustain pressure on my chest and it was distributed enough that I didn’t feel anything. I’ve been able to keep playing without pain, and my Injury has been able to finish healing. A nice bonus is that you can take the shield out of the shirt once it’s hardened and I was able to wear it by cutting a small slit and stuffing it between the layers of a tight, high necked sports bra and that seemed to work just as well. It rubs a tiny bit under my arms but not enough to leave a rash or anything. Definitely recommend this over other types of chest padding which is just a little bit of foam over the sternum.

Received an open product, the shield was already formed, had to contact manufacturer
Purchased three of these, two came in yellow envelopes with the shield vacuum sealed like it's supposed to be, the third one showed up in a stress free package? The shirt was tagged as if new, but the the shield had already been exposed to air and had taken shape. I was either sold a used shield, or someone pulled it out of the packaging and shipped it that way, or something else, I don't know. I do know, that I don't have time to send it back for a replacement, softball practices are live, so one of my kids is wearing a (new?) but compromised shield. Buyer beware.I'm contacting the product manufacturer as well. This is not going to work, and I will be requiring a product replacement ASAP. For the other two shields, spot on - love them. Very upset about the open box shield though... Not cool.

My daughter age 10 has been wearing this for the ...
My daughter age 10 has been wearing this for the last 2 softball seasons. She has been hit multiple times in her chest either by errant throws or by ground balls/bad hops. Not once did she ever complain of any pain; I don't even think she notices when she gets hit in the chest. However I gave it 4 stars. Case in point - I was at a softball game last week and I saw a 12 yr old get drilled by a pitch on the side of her chest while batting. She went down and had to leave the game, crying. Was told she was wearing the Evoshield heart guard which brings me to the one issue I have always had with this. Although it does protect the center of the chest, it does not extend out to either side to protect the entire chest. I noticed this with my daughter - and yes she has the right fit which is suppose to be snug. I wish it provided more protection to the lateral chest/rib areas!

Seems good!
I asked my daughter to try it on for the fit and she opened the molding portion, luckily it molded well to her without me needing to do anything lolShe’s 12 and in majors fastpitch softball. I got her a youth large, fits very well. If your child isnt super slender the large will not fit well. The Plate hardened good and we’re hoping this prevents any major injuries if she takes a ball to the chest.I’ll update if she gets smacked with the ball during the season to say how well it protected her.

Second one my daughter has used.
She grew out of the one she wore for probably 4-5 seasons. We got our money's worth. Definitely recommend for any kid who needs extra protection in chest (especially pitchers). She's 12, approx 5' tall, 100 lbs (small framed) and she is wearing a Youth Large. They are snug, that's what you want so it holds plate in place.

Worth every penny!
Had issues with first shell, there was little to no padding foam. Contacted Evoshield and they are sending me a new one. I bought one for both my daughter after my 15yo took a line drive to the chest while pitching. Both my daughters 9, 15 love them they say that they are very comfortable while pitching.

Great protective gear for travel softball players and parent piece of mind.
Purchased this for my daughter who just started playing 12u travel softball. It fit her perfectly, she is about 5'4"-5'5" and is a tall, thin, and athletic build. So far, so good. Once you take it out and it forms to the chest, it gets very solid and firm and I feel better knowing my daughter is safer while pitching, playing infield, and batting during her games. Recommended it to other girls on her team and several already wore them.
