Useful book if you are studying teacher training or similar

This is a great resource to have for a PGCE. Compact size and stacked with a range of theories, each chapter is concise.

Bought this book in my final year at uni and wish I had purchased it in my first year. Found this so helpful, liked the contrasts and the way each section is broken down. Will help with all education essays at uni and enjoyable to dip in and out of.

This book contains a variety of educational theorists with their theory’s simplified.Great for helping to do essays and developing teaching practices.

Excellent book giving an overview and and criticism of each theorist and good references. Very helpful, would recommend for anyone on CertEd or PGCE . Ideal for module 4, and relatable to module 6.

Quite simplified. The author writes as if speaking to the student 1-1. Helped with my understanding of the theories used in teaching and learning with a very high 'A' in the end. Would recommend.

Seems really good, lots of theory and depth of information. Will definitely be using this plenty of times in future. Warning: lots of words and theory, some may find it challenging without any colour or pictures.

This book was amazing, but its glue did not hold and it fell apart annoyingly for me after a few uses. I ended up recycling it, as it was too painful to use in the condition it was in with the bind splitting so easily. Disappointed.

Easy to read and follow . Love the applications to the classroom .
