OEM Amazing Stereo Headphones for Samsung Galaxy S8 S9 S8 Plus S9 Plus S10 Note 8 9 - AKG Tuned - with Microphone

Review of my new cheap 2000rs samsung earbuds - From what i saw on the internet - to turn this cheap earbud into insane level of sound quality - you need to adjust a few things... First made sure it is the real one by checking the official samsung guide - [Google - 'Identifying original AKG tuned earphones over unauthorized earphones' and click first result from samsung] 1. Used a EQ setting which i downloaded from youtube - specifically made for this earbud to fix some bad parts. 2. Changed from cheap samsung eartips to eartip from my old IEM. 3. Wearing Left Earbud on Right Ear and vice versa... IEM style I played some music on it... for a few hours... to warm it up.. Will be comparing it to my 200$ IEM [Ziigaat Odyssey] and 500$ Headphone [Edition XS] (Both Fully Calibrated) First Impressions from Today Morning - First Song : Bad Boys - INNA - -- WOW... The voice is just WOW.. it sounds just like her voice... instrument seperation is so sharp it feels illegal !!! The way voice comes across is very natural... like most lifelike voice i have ever heard from any audio equipment.. idk how to explain it... its so crisp.every guitar pluck... every voice.. every drum hit has its own space. feels seperate not mangled together. Its also very small so it feels like there is nothing in your ear... but yeah.. the bass is also good but its not like - Physical FEEL IT IN YOUR SKIN type bass you get from headphones... so if you like listening to just bass boosted songs i would NOT recommend buying earphones in first place.. For just listening to Youtube or Music - and you want the voice to sound as close to real life as possible - this earbud is the best choice for that. I feel like for 90% of the use cases - this is so much better than anything else i OWN... Final Thoughts - If you are lazy and dont want to do any EQ and stuff and just want BIG BASS.. you should buy something else.. but if you are willing to put in some time to EQ it, change the eartips, wear it with L and R swapped... its INSANELY GOOD.. comparable with IEM's costing 3 lakhs.... i do wish the cable quality was better and it was more durable but for the price its really good It feels like finding a glitch in the audio industry 😳

My God. Don't be fooled by the looks of this earphone. You just need to try it. A suggestion: pair it with a good DAC. At a high volume the base holds solid. It does not cracks. I have sennheiser 559 open back headphone. This earphone comes very close to to my headphone which is around 9k. The base is punchy and tight. It does not influence the mid and highs. I am pairing with MOONDROP FreeDSP Mini Portable DAC & Amp. Its sounds super amazing.

Packaging says these are AKG EO-IG955. Great clear sound, I am not audio expert but does make music instruments and sound effects much more clear in videos/songs. Some on youtube say these sound great with extra tuning but I don't have the means or knowledge to tune. Good wired earphones can also be worn over the ear like an IEM. Comes with braided cable, microphone, volume controller and 3 extra ear tips.

The sound quality is very good (a.k.a. Hi-Fi), similar to the original earphones that came with the phone, and they are also comfortable to wear. I had previously ordered these same earphones from a different supplier, but unfortunately, they had a very tinny sound, which I suspect may have been a non-genuine product. This seller's product is a significant improvement! I later decided to add some diagrams I had come across earlier, which may be of interest to those who enjoy geeky details. The exploded view shows that these earphones, known as Samsung AKG IO-IG955 (AKG Harman company became a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics in 2017), feature dual drivers, commonly referred to as a two-way speaker. I disassembled my old, broken pair and measured the diaphragms of these drivers. Two-way drivers are beneficial for their improved frequency response, as one driver is dedicated to producing bass, while the other is responsible for high-pitched sounds. AKG's tuning process involves adjusting the drivers and incorporating various damping materials to achieve a flat frequency response. Notably, the frequency response diagram shows a small peak at 15kHz on the right side, which contributes to the sense of presence in the sound. This, combined with the overall shape of the curve, is a key aspect of the earphones' performance. In contrast, the frequency response of most other earphones deteriorates above 10kHz, although some Sony products and a few other AKG-tuned earphones exhibit reasonable performance in this regard.

Product is genuine and come in the original packages. One of the best if not the best iem in the world on the peqdb target. Strongly suggest to buy it from this seller since it's genuine. I've heard people ordered from different seller's and got fakes one which is sad.
