Q: Why are these M10 thread instead of 3/8”?

You wouldn’t need these for faucets commonly used in the US. We purchased a faucet manufactured outside the US and needed the m10 threads to connect everything. The m10 threaded into the base of the faucet and the 3/8 ties into typical turn stops.
