Great value for the price!

This is a really cheap set of silverware that IS stainless steel. Let's put that in perspective (50c a piece). I needed something to tie me over, throwaway so to speak, and it suits my need. I would certainly not purchase this for a gift, nor for my long-time use, mostly because it feels light, sharp and chintzy. I gave it 4 stars, thinking it might draw attention to my review. Understand, this would not be your forever set and is very good for what you pay. If you host a bunch of parties and don't want to use plastic, this will not break the budget and will last. It's much better than some restaurant silverware that bend with just some mild pressure.

I purchased these for use at my son's upcoming wedding. I am pleased with the shape, color and weight of them. I think they will work out perfectly for the big day.

Becareful finish wears off easy

Buyer beware. These are going into the trash this morning as you can see the coloration is coming off. After a month of using and washing the coating on these are coming off. As the coating is coming off the forks are exposing sharp metal shards that cannot be removed. So not only do these constantly look filthy but they are now a hazard.

I read all the negative reviews so I was aware of some complaints about the finish wearing off and sharp areas. Have purchased this set in gold and black and can say these have been washed in the dishwasher multiple times and there has been no wearing of the finish; both sets still look like they are new. Also, have had no issues with sharp areas on any of the pieces. I would definitely repurchase and did with the black set. I'm not sure what people are using in the dishwasher but I use liquid Cascade and Finish as a rinse. Absolutely no problems and very happy with my purchases.

These are the perfect size. Not a good size for soup for adults, but perfect for everything else.
