Strong, artisan style brackets
I had removed the upper cabinets in my kitchen when I discovered they were literally held up by one nail and a whole lot of construction adhesive. Once I had the cabinets down, I liked how much larger the kitchen felt and decided to replace them with open shelving.Looking through Pinterest, I found the type of brackets I liked, but needed them opposite most ones you could buy. Because of the high back splash I needed more of an 'L' bracket and wasn't finding it. I had a friend lined up to fabricate some, but with everything else he had going, it was going to take a while.Once again, Amazon came through with EXACTLY what I needed. These brackets are heavy duty and have a nice artisan feel. It would have been nice if they had a bit of a hammered look to them, but I realize that you would need to heat them up for that and might lose some strength in the process. As it is, these brackets are quite strong and are supporting a fair amount of weight - I have a 8-place setting (dishes and bowls) and there's no flex at all. I have 1/4 x 3" lag screws into studs which make for a pretty sturdy combination. The really nice thing is that I ordered 2 sets of the 11.25" and 2 sets of the 9.25" and used a 2 x 12 and a 2 x 10 from Lowes. With stain and hardware, my investment was under $200.It's definitely worth mentioning that although it would have been nice to have my friend build the brackets, I'm not sure how consistent the build quality would have been. I had all the Csonka brackets and they were identical - that a big deal when you mock everything up and then pull them down to texture and paint. I didn't keep track of what went where because I didn't need to.

Nice shelf Brackets
These shelf brackets look really nice overall. They were shipped fast and came as advertised and look great with my mini kitchen makeover. I did end up using my own screws and wall anchors, but the supplied screws probably would have worked if going into studs. They are a raw steel look that compliment the industrial design I was going for. My only complaint is that the shelves are angled slightly down because of the angle they were bent, and that was before adding and weight to them. Overall they are sturdy and look great, very pleased!

Exactly what I needed for my DIY open kitchen shelving!
I'm so glad I found these brackets! I used them to build my own open kitchen shelving (6 total brackets for 2 shelves), and love how they came together. Took just one afternoon to build on my own, and the brackets made it all possible. I would definitely recommend using them, and will order them again if I ever do a similar project somewhere else in our house. They're really heavy-duty, and the matte black finish looks really modern. Great buy!!

Beautiful AND functional
I love these brackets. We are redoing our kitchen eating area, and opted to add some open shelving to give it more of a farmhouse feel. These gave it just the right amount of rustic charm, and are very sturdy. We originally bought 3 sets, but then ordered one additional once we had the shelves in to complete the look. My wife absolutely loves her “new” kitchen. I highly recommend.

Good. Solid. But...
Awesome looking and functioning brackets for the most part. Only problem was that they didn’t all exactly fit the 2x12s. Have to spend extra time making sure the curve in the L can fit the edge of the wood comfortably. Used 3 brackets to hold up about 50” wide shelves drilled into studs. Still a slight bend at the end of the shelves. Had to put small wood spacers in between bracket and wood to get rid of tilt forward in shelves

Sturdy and looks great with a nice piece of stained pine
Love the look of these brackets for shelving. Holds a lot of weight. A little expensive, but looks nice. Works perfectly for a 12x2 board from Lowe's. Will probably get more.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Solidly made and they've given our kitchen shelves the rustic look we were hoping for, while being very sturdy. We used 2x12s. 3 brackets per each 26" shelf (although two would work, we wanted these to be bomber for holding lots of dishes). Love the look and particularly like that the brackets have the lip for extra security and that the mounting is "up" versus other brackets that would have the supports downward, making it difficult to deal with backsplashes, etc.

Solid hangers for shelves.
The hanger brackets are sturdy and functional. I was able to use true 2" x 8" barn wood from my family's old corn crib. I had to rip a board to fill the extra 3-1/4 " needed. I was afraid a 11-1/4" wide shelf wasn't going to be wide enough but I am happy with it. As you can see there is enough space. I highly recommend these hangers. It is best to use these hangers on 16" centers for stability.
