Muy bueno
Me encanto. Te tiene en vilo hasta el final. Aunque no tan bueno como “Becoming lady lookwood”, que en mi opinion es el mejor de la autora

I'm ready to visit Colonial India now!
The only sad thing for me was that I loved this book so much I immediately handed it to my best friend to read, and she lives several hundred miles away. I may never see it again. Which means I must buy it again to complete my Jennifer Moore collection. Jennifer Moore is a wonderful author of historical romances, with my favorite thing about her books being the settings she chooses. Any historical romance reader can tell you the market is absolutely saturated, whether the setting is the wild west, mail order brides, or the Regency period. This lovely book is set during the Regency, but you will find no London ballrooms or invitations to Bath here! Lady Helen's story takes place in Colonial India, on the very edge of the jungle, where tigers and native princes are very real threats.Beyond the unusual setting (which is breathtaking in description), we have an unusual hero. I don't wish to spoil anything, but I do believe that Captain Rhodes is now on my top ten heroes list, due to his firm grasp of the realities of life and his simultaneous love of India. I cheered for him from the beginning. One of the clever things Moore has done in this novel is give us a beautiful love story, opening petal by exotic petal, with such a well suited couple. While showing us India through the eyes of someone new and eager to explore (Lady Helen), we also see it through the eyes of the Captain - someone well seasoned in the dangers and delights of the world around them.Well written, drew me in right away, and I had much rather have spent a full day reading this novel than going to the wedding reception for which I was forced to interrupt my reading. *sigh*

. . ."You Cannot Truly Love Something if You Only See The Beauty on the Surface: You Must See All of it, Even it's Faults"
. . ."You cannot truly love something if you only see the beauty on the surface: you must see all of it, even its faults." This is my favorite line from this exceptional book. It defines Lady Helen's wonderful discovery and realization. Jennifer Moore is a very talented artist! In this book, she paints amazing pictures of India - that make you want to go there. You see its beauty and splendor, as well as the struggles and dangers. A wonderful - believable story, with a tender, clean romance, and a touch of a Regency era element as well. I enjoyed every page of this book and was not bored at all. It has a wonderful and satisfying ending. I highly recommend this book, as well as all other books by Jennifer Moore.

Another Winner by Ms. Moore
I just love reading Jennifer Moore books. Aside from the great writing, fun adventure, and fulfilling romance, I enjoy revisiting characters from each of her tales as main characters become side characters and side characters become main ones. While its not necessary to read her books in any order, I just love being able to see how all the characters she has created continue to live on and interact in her regency world. As for this installment, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Lady Helen better and being introduced to the swoon-worthy Captain Rhodes. I also adored getting to see the softer side of General Stackhouse. Moore does an amazing job of bringing India to life as well; indeed, it's made my travel bucket list now.

Lady Helen Finds Her Song
Positives:-There was a lot of depth to each of the characters and you could relate and root for them. You cared about what was going to happen.-Chapters and sections were divided up between the point of views of the two main characters Lady Helen Poulter and Captain Michael Rhodes. Both point of views were very interesting and defined. I preferred knowing what each character was thinking and feeling rather than only having one point of view and both views were written well.-I liked that none of the characters were perfect. It made it more realistic. I have always been annoyed by too perfect characters.-The general dialogue and story-line was excellent and I didn’t want to put the book down.Negatives:-There were a number of typos in the book. Each time it distracted me and took me out of the book. Thankfully most of the typos were only in one chapter, not the entire book.-I honestly didn’t know why Lady Helen was still interested in Lieutenant Arthur Bancroft after his first hunting conversation.-I have read all five books in Jennifer Moore’s Regency Romance series as well as her novella A Happy Accident in the collection Spring in Hyde Park. Moore uses the popular Regency time period but adds unique locations and events making her stories more interesting and less predictable. I look forward to any future Regency novels she plans to write.
