These are cheap and defective - they put out more than the rated voltage and will damage/fry your equipmentDO NOT BUY IR USE THESE

Because a cable that I ordered was not properly intergratable into my multi computer multi printer system the adapter is usless
I ordered 4 items to integrate into a dual mac dual printer wireless system integrated with Sony bluray DVD/VHS recorder, becauseHDMI-DVA cable was not the right cable I do not need th adapter. i had to go out locally and rewire ith different connections leaving out the modem for the AC-DC adapter( actually a rectifier)
