This is probably one of the best EDC lights I have used and carried to date. One very important thing I will mention is lumens and accuracy. There are lots of flashlights on Amazon, lots of companies etc. that all say huge amounts of lumens, etc. but there are only a few companies that are accurate and honest about their lumen output, and Olight is one of those companies. 1750 lumens is a tremendous amount of light. And have that in a small EDC light that can fit comfortably in your front pocket without being a huge bulge and uncomfortable to carry is a huge deal. This light is also able to hold that brightness for quite some time before stepping down. The functionality as far as output options is great. There is a tactical strobe feature, which I do want to point out, because most strobe features are pretty pointless for a Defense/tactical feature, because the only way to engage that feature on a flashlight is by doing some sort of a triple click on the light etc. which just is impossible to do under duress in some sort of a defense situation, etc., on this light, you can set up the strobe feature so that you can engage it by simply pressing one button on off, and the strobe comes on and comes off. Very simple other features that are important that are not uncommon to Olight are the magnetic charging cable which is a great feature to have, and very easy to use. And finally the price , this light is incredibly affordable with a really solid battery and I just don’t think that you can go wrong for what you’re getting for the price. The good news is, if you purchase it and don’t like it, you can always just return it, but I am very confident that you will really like it! One of the best purchases I’ve made! Unpacking it feels like a premium experience, everything seems all thought out.Not as insanely bright as it's hyped to be, but it's definitely a strong blinding flashlight.The end of it is always magnetic, and I have my keys stick to it sometimes. Since I put this on my keychain, it's annoying.Instructions of operation aren't clear, you might need to look up a video to fully understand how to use it.It's got a lock mode. A long press and release toggles it off and on. Once you disable lock mode you can use the tail button. You can program the behavior of the tail button by holding it and then pressing the side button. The instruction manual isn't clear on that.If your tail button still don't seem to work, make sure you've screwed it in all the way. That was an issue for me at first.Now it's a very nice flashlight I'm happy to carry daily with me

Very bright and easy to use. Rugged and has held up to over a year of use. Tailcap function is a great feature and was missing from my other lights, really helps with the function when deploying. Battery lasts very long and seldom charge with light use. Very pleased with size and overall form of this light.

I'm a wildlife officer, and I've had this for a couple of months now, and I love it. Fits in the knife pocket of my tactical pants and shorts. I got tired of contantly buying batteries or using rechargeable batteries which were a hassle to swap out. I know, that's kind of petty, but little things like that seem to annoy me more than when I was younger.This light is very bright at its brightest setting, and lasts a fairly long time. SO easy to charge and keep charged. If I had to find a fault with it, I'd say that I would prefer a rubberized handle instead of the metal, but that may just be me. The clip is nice, but I've had it catch and come off a couple of times. It think it could be better made, but that's a small quibble.
