Montelle Women's Thigh Shapewear Plus Size Firm Tummy Control High Waist Shaper Slimmer for Women

So ... I am super conflicted on this review I am giving ... I have purchased four of these over the last few years and two of those were recent. I buy them bigger then I need because I just want them for smoothing out my torso and to keep my thighs from rubbing. I never use the bra attachment and it is really not necessary as these things do not roll down which is amazing!!! (They REALLY do not roll down and I have never worn any that have not rolled down). However, out of the two I recently purchased one of them completely split down the side seam! It happened today and of course I go to report it and get it exchanged and I can't because my window is closed. Today was only the second time I have worn them and I am really sad! Anyways, if it would not be for that I would give a five but I must of gotten one that was not sewn well.UPDATE: So a few months after I wrote this review the company reached out to me and said they would replace the defective pair of shapers. I was extremely happy to hear this! Once received my happiness turned to somewhat sad because what was sent to me was their new design and I was not sure if it would have the same functionality. Well, I am happy to say that the new design is even better then before! I love them and highly recommend them to anyone!

The length is good. I am just under 5'9" and fluctuate between 280 and 285, they almost come to my knee. I ordered a 3x because I was worried a 2x wouldn't fit right as I am a bottom heavy person with bigger thighs and full butt. They are a little looser than expected. I could have gotten away with a 2x. Seem like good sturdy material.

The hooked up shapewear is amazing and keeps everything in place while keeping me very smooth and perfectly shaped for my vintage dresses and cosplay ventures. Being plus size makes it hard to wear a close draped dress without having all the lumps (not that I don't love it all) this solution is so perfect because it stays in place all day even when I'm moving around (especially in conventions) all day!

I ordered several different options to try and this one was by far the best. There are many pluses. 1- fabric is very smooth and will not show designs or lumps under your garment. 2- the adhesive ( tackey stuff on the legs is strong enough to hold the legs from riding up but will not show through your lower half of garment. 3- there is an opening if you must use the bathroom and choose not to pull the garment downNow the down side. The opening overlaps so it would be rather difficult not to piddle on yourself. All of the garments that have this feature are like this. Not sure why someone doesn't perfect it. 2- if you have any back fat, you will see it unless you have someone pull the garment all the way up and pull your bra over it. ost people who wear these do not look like the model, sorry. 3- If you do have to use the ladies, you have the problem pulling it back up and over unless your buddy goes in with you. Just don't drink anything when you go out.

I am in so much pain due to this garment. I ordered size "M" based on their size chart.I wear U.S. size 6 in pants and size 8 in tops. It took a while to get this garment on. It was very difficult and took a lot of effort. I couldn't get it past my hips... I wear size 6 pants. This shouldn't have been an issue. I finally got it all the way up, but now I can't even take a breath. I figured it will adjust in a little while. I left for work and now I'm in a lot of pain. This garment is literally bruising my torso and ribcage. Maybe the garment was marked incorrectly... All I know is that I'm in pain. I have 4 more hours to go before I can take this painful garment off.

I really liked how it clips to my bra strap. It gets rid of the gap between shapewear and bra, so there's no ugly back bulge. I ordered this and compared it to Shapermint's product [it's all over Instagram] I prefer this product over the more expensive shapermint.Update 2022: I've own this for a while and I have to say I keep going back to it. I stopped using the hooks because it doesn't even need it. It's high enough to fit under your bra. I could never use the crotch slot to go to the bathroom. I'm an expert at rolling it down like underwear and doing my business.

The fabric is very comfortable and it fits well. My only issue is that it didn't come with hooks, which was the whole reason I was looking at this brand. I even went to the original website and all the videos and photos lead me to believe there are supposed to be hooks with the shapeware. I double checked the packaging and the box it came with to no avail. I would send it back but I need it for a wedding in the next day. Luckily I was able to Jerry rig some swimsuit hooks from Joanns to work. Other than the missing pieces, the product is great.

The material is nice and soft and I think it will be very comfortable. I bought the size recommended by the measurement guide and when I tried it on, it was too big. I mean, it fit but didn't really hold anything in place. So, I am ordering one size down. I will update when the new one arrives on Monday.

I give this product 3 starts for 3 reasons...1. It cane in the wrong color2. It doesn’t suck my hips in as much as I’d like3. The picture they show of the crotch on this specific product is incorrect. There is no way of undoing the crotch part like the picture shows, it’s only a flap that you’ll have to hold with your hands when you go to the bathroom. I posted a pic of it.

I really love how it has the clips on the back. I am a large size 12. I bought med and large. Couldn't fit into the medium at all. the large fit like a glove. it was very comfortable. you do need someone to help you put the clips on the back. i tried by myself and the clips fell off. guess i dint secure it properly. it comes with extenders for the bra straps. The top and legs has a rubber strip. the top rubber didn't hold in place but i guess that why it straps onto the bra, the legs rubber worked perfect. i would recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  Okay so getting this over my ass took 20 minutes and it doesn’t even tuck my tummy at all!!! It gives me rolls I didn’t have before it’s gross

Product arrived in good time and I’d ordered a 2XL as I’ve noticed clothes fit just a tad smaller than I’m accustomed to. I’ve worn this product for the day and found it easily worn and comfortable though it didn’t hold things in to the degree I thought it might. Regardless, a good deal for the price, a comfortable product that doesn’t seem to roll or bind, I’m generally pleased.

I like it very thight and my normal underwear size was too large. Order smaller if you like it like me. Theres an opening for bathroom break thats nice!. It doesnt go high enough on the body for me i goes down all the time. Didnt understand how you can install the strap to your bra without someone with you. I usuallt dont have someone with me when i put on a slimming body suit so didnt like it.
