Will these sleeves be too tight on larger arms?

The stretchy fabric offers a snug fit, but fit varies by arm size. Larger upper arms may feel tighter during long wear. The sleeves should feel secure, not painful. Stop wearing them if you feel numbness, pain, or deep pressure marks.

Will the sleeves slide down during activity?

A snug fit helps the sleeves stay up during driving, yard work, and sports. Very slim arms may notice some slipping, while larger arms may feel a tighter top band. Pull the fabric evenly up your arm instead of stretching only the top edge.

Do the sleeves actually feel cold in hot weather?

“Cooling” means the fabric is lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying—it does not actively chill your skin. The sleeves help reduce direct sun exposure, but the cooling feel will vary with heat, humidity, airflow, and activity level.

Are these medical compression sleeves?

No. These are lightweight sun sleeves with a gently snug fit, not medical-grade compression sleeves. They are designed for UV coverage and everyday outdoor comfort, not injury treatment, pain relief, or targeted elbow support.

How should I wash the sleeves to prevent damage?

Hand wash only in cold water with mild detergent, then air-dry. Do not machine wash, bleach, iron, or tumble dry. Heat and machine agitation may cause loose threads, fading, shrinkage, or reduced elasticity.
