Pokemon TCG Sun & Moon Burning Shadows Elite Trainer Box

This ETB was basically a psychological experiment disguised as a Pokémon product. Everything about the presentation felt premium. The box art looked amazing, the sleeves were nice quality, and opening the packs had that dangerous “just one more” feeling that every Pokémon collector understands a little too well. Burning Shadows honestly had some of the most emotionally devastating pull rates imaginable. Every pack felt like it could either contain greatness or personally humble you. I’m pretty sure this set singlehandedly taught an entire generation what gambling feels like. Even outside of the chase cards though, the Elite Trainer Box itself was great quality. I still ended up using the box for storage long after opening everything because it looked too nice to throw away. The dividers and accessories also made it feel more substantial than just buying loose packs. Overall, incredibly fun set to open and a very solid ETB for collectors, even if the Charizard probably still lives only in my dreams.

I consider this Pokémon Card Elite Trainer Box the best Pokémon set I have ever received. I was even lucky enough to get Full Art Guzma in the set (if you don't know what that is, it is an extremely rare card)! Although, just like every other Elite Trainer Box, this is a randomized box, there are more rare cards in the Burning Shadows set. Therefore, you are more likely to get rare cards than with some other box sets, such as Crimson Invasion, which has a lower rare card rate. Along with having 8 booster packs in the box, it comes with a few other things, such as 65 Burning Shadows themed card sleeves, which are great for protecting your rare cards in style, a pack of various Energy cards, which you need to play the game, and a box to hold your cards with dividers. Overall, this is a good box set, even if you don't get any rare cards, which isn't likely, considering there are 8 booster packs, which each contain 1-2 somewhat rare to rare cards. It comes with a lot of other things that are helpful for collectors and players of Pokémon cards alike. Thank you for reading my review, and have a good day!

Bought for grandson for Christmas. He loved it! Said he got great cards that no longer exist in stores. His favorite present! Worth the money.

From the start, the plastic wrap on the box was obviously not factory sealed. Everything inside of the box was tossed around and the dice weren't even in their packaging. Every single pack had been opened and resealed, see photos. They weren't resealed very well, either. Every pack opened with almost no resistance. We had opened a few store-bought packs at the same time and it really solidified the difference. There was a pattern of the same cards over and over again in nearly every pack and I only pulled one regular Holo. This is unacceptable for Amazon to allow these companies to keep stealing out of their products. The box is decent for storage, and it's always nice to have more card sleeves. However, avoid at all costs if you care about the actual Pokemon cards.

I bought this to search for the rare rainbow rare charizard gx and only pulled machamp gx. I am a very avid pokemon tag collector and know the odds are mean't to be get a hit within 3 packs, although I received no holos only the cheapest and useless gx. You are guaranteed a gx or better per kit but these have been tampered with. I weighed the last couple packs and they contained no holos or better go for the booster box instead of this.

Bought from Coolest Commodities, shipped from Amazon. Trainer box looked resealed on the outside, but all of the contents were inside and all packs were sealed and not tampered with. Decent pulls too. We got a secret rare out of it.

I’m always hesitant buying Pokémon cards online, but I have had nothing but good luck buying Elite Trainer Boxes through Amazon (NOT through third party providers). The box came factory sealed. The contents inside were jumbled around, but everything was there. Out of the 8 packs I pulled 3 GX cards, one being one of the most valuable cards in the set, so I was very satisfied.

I bought the trainer elite box for 32 from amazon directly. I was a little concerned when I decided to buy this item since the reviews were stating that the item was tampered. I got the box today and my anxiety couldn’t be any higher. The box look like it wasn’t resealed or tampered with (good sign). All the items on the description were included... 8 individual packs, dice, energy, coins, sleeves, and book guide. I can honestly said I am pleased with the item I have received and documented everything just in case.

Fantastic product. Was exactly how described. The plastic marker tokens are made to a high quality. The dice are a good quality and make marking damage to pokemon more efficient than using the cardboard markers that are supplied with the theme decks. My only criticism with the product is there are not enough dividers for when you are using the box to transport your cards. I like to organise all my trading cards by energy type and when you only have 5 dividers it isn't achievable. Overall, great product, great base for your energy selection and with the box having booster packs in it, you have the potential to pull rare cards which cannot really be grumbled at.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my Grandson aged 9. He loves it
