I wish I could give negative stars to this product. It is an utter waste of money. It has zero grip to stick to the rug and only sticks to floor. I am shocked to see good ratings on this product which deceived me into buying it. Not sure if they ran any scheme to buy those ratings. Don’t waste your money on it.

These do not work at all. Ikea anti slip mats are your best bet. Don't waste your money or time with these

I bought these because I have a lightweight area rug thats always sliding around the floor. The rug itself is really pretty, but because it’s so lightweight, it would move around every time someone walked across it. I didn’t want to use a regular double-sided carpet tape because I was worried about it leaving residue or messing up the floor, so I decided to give these a try. So far, I’m really happy with them! They were easy to install and have done a great job keeping the rug in place. The biggest thing is making sure you clean the floor and the back of the rug first so there isn’t dust or dirt underneath the grippers. To use them, I first laid the rug flat and figured out where I wanted the grippers to go. I put one near each corner and then added the others along the edges where the rug was wanting to curl or move. You attach the gripper pieces to the bottom of the rug, then position the rug where you want it and press it down firmly onto the floor. I found that taking a little extra time to make sure everything was lined up before sticking them down made the process much easier. onece theyre stuck theyre stuck you can really move them after. Once they were in place, the difference was noticeable. The rug doesn’t slide around at all its stuck. my dog runs across it and it doesnt fold over or slide. I also like that they are low profile. You cant tell theyre stuck down, and they didn’t create a weird bump or raised area that you can feel when walking over the rug. I haven’t had any issues with them damaging my floors so far, which was one of my main concerns. Obviously, I would still be careful when removing them and follow the directions rather than just pulling everything off quickly. For anyone wondering if these will work on a lightweight area rug, I would definitely give them a try. They were simple to use, they keep my rug stuck, and they saved me from constantly having to move the rug back into place. Overall, I’m very happy with them. They’re an easy and inexpensive solution if you have a rug that likes to wander around your floors!

These rug grippers are super easy to install and work really well. They keep my rug from sliding around and help the corners stay flat. Simple, effective, and definitely worth the money!

These stick so well I had to use pliers to pull them off my rug to wash it. They did not leave any residue on my tile floor, after holding my kitchen rug in place for months. They are a big enough size that I even cut these in half to use for bath mats and door mats. You have to make sure that both the floor and the back of the rug are clean without dust or dirt residue, because that can cause it to not stick correctly. If I didn’t have to take these off to put my rug in the washing machine I think I’d still be using the original ones I put on 10 months ago. Great value and longevity for the money

These are VERY strong. Will 100% hold down any lind of rug and never let go. I took off one star because the adhesive is so strong and goopy the if you ever need to move the rug or take it up the adhesive will also take any stain from right off the wood and leave a big mark. Flatness and rigid hold is great but be mindful if you have old wood floors.
