Really nice sun protecton hat. Not only does it protect the back of your neck, it also protects the front, if you use the face shield. The material is very light weight and breathable. There are several vents on the hat itself and also on the face shield, making this hat very breathable. This can be a custom fit due to the drawstring that makes the hat flush with your head. This is good value for the quality of material. The flaps in the back are long enough for added protection.

Breathable, Fits perfectly, light and functional

I took one star off because the chin strap came broken. The detachable chin strap has plastic hooks that clip onto the underside of the hat; no big deal though, I'll just sew on both sides of the chin strap. The hat itself is very light weight. It has a wide brim to keep the sun out of your eyes and off your face. There is a piece of cloth at the back of the hat (non-detachable) that covers the back of your neck. There is an elastic band at the back to allow for sizing. To size down there is a little plastic piece you pull to cinch it tighter to your head. I feel like if you didn't have the chin strap, this might easily blow off your head, IF you have a smaller head, because the cincher in the back doesn't cinch that well. The front face covering is detachable, there are little plastic buttons that clip together to attach it to the underside of hat and back neck cover. I'd be careful removing/attaching the face cover from the buttons, they seem kind of fragile, so if you're too rough with them they might break. I have long hair, and although it doesn't have a hole to put a ponytail through, as long as you place your ponytail a little lower on your head, it won't cause problems wearing it.I dont feel like this would be a good hat for anything heavy duty, like if you were doing contruction work or hiking for days at a time, just good enough for you to do some summmer gardening, or use at outside gatherings like picnics or a concert. Overall, for the price it's a good enough hat.

I love this hat. It protects my face from the sun. I had skin cancers prior. This hat is light weight. The face cover is easy to breath through. I do alot of yard work and mowing.I will probably get another one.The hat is cute,comfotable,light weight and protects me from the sun. I think it is perfect for me.

I am not impressed with this hat and it does not work well for me. The face covering is VERY loose on me and does not effectively stay in place to provide the protection I need. There is no metal in the face covering to keep it in place or mold it to your face. Also, the "dark grey" is BROWN. Otherwise, the hat is fine.

I love this hat, size and all. I have several others, but they blow off easily. For some reason this one stays on, something about the large bill. It keeps the sun off my neck & face. I don’t use the mask so cannot vouch for that. It washes well & dries fast.

This is great at a great price. I will buy more. I wanted to get a couple more, but was skeptical about the size. It fits about a size large woman or medium-ish man. I'm around 265 and this fits me good. It is adjustable, but I have it maxed, haha. The brim would be a large for up to a 230 pound man. The tail goes below my shoulder blades and covers my ears. It is washable too.
