When it comes to ayurvedic supplements, I want them to come from their country of origin which is India. This shatavari powder is indeed a product of India and is of pretty good quality. I don't take it internally because it raises estrogen and that's the last thing I need lol. I do use it in my diy hair masks though and it leaves my hair super conditioner.

The product is nice but packed in 2022. Expiring soon. I'll not be able to use the entire thing. The packaging date should've been mentioned before it was shipped.

I try to eat a healthy diet and keep fit to keep as young looking and healthy as possible and supplements like this are a great way to improve my diet. I tried it first on its own in a solution of water before adding it to foods to see how it tasted to me and what I wanted to mix it with. It tasted fine to me, but it does have an individual taste and you do not need a lot of this. I have since added it to meals such as spaghetti bolognaise and curried carrot & lentil soup and it didn’t affect taste in these dishes at all. Since it is in powder form it should be easily absorbed and I have not had any adverse effects from it, but it will take longer to see the overall health benefits that this supplement should give me.
