A great digital stethoscope
The digital amplification helps me hear heart sounds so much better than my older stethoscope and I love that it can also function in analog mode. The bluetooth pairing with my iPhone is amazing too!

Very Disappointing!
I saw this product advertised on Facebook and as my old faithful Starkey was failing, I decided to purchase the Eko as a non=expensive way to regain an electronic stethoscope. It was delivered in good time, and that was about it. It came with few instructions, just how to attach it to the recommended stethoscope, and where it charges. It has a slide button to put it in analog, which does not amplify any sound, or slide to the left for digital. You then had to go to the Play Store and get the Eko app and download it and this was to be for the digital recordings, etc. Charging with a micro USB port took a long time, and nothing happened! So I went to the internet and downloaded the instructions. Still no amplified sound, but better explanations. I couldn't use it clinically until it proved it's worth, and I re-charged it several times when the flimsy covering over the USB port just came off and I could not replace it. Now, hearing this seller, I find out it has to be in a digital mode to amplify anything which makes no sense if you need just amplification and not all the bells and whistles.I am going to try once again to charge it, and re-try its function. While all this was going on, I got notified that the app was not working, and to get rid of it and get another new version of the app so this piece of junk will work. They say they have a help or chat line, but I have not had any luck there--I did not get an answer. I want to know where all their testimonials came from, because I sure haven't had any successes with it, and I have used electronic stethoscopes all my clinical life. I now wonder if this product really works for the hearing impaired? You can't wear it around your neck because the head of the device is so heavy on the bottom that it pulls and slides off your shoulders. It is a pain to constantly re-adjust it. Why doesn't it amplify in analog? Of I use digital all day bluetoothed to my smartphone--how will the drain on my phone battery be? I don't like the Littman scope much either. I wish I would have saved my money more and gone back to The Starkey Company. Buyer Beware!.

This is the most advanced but at the same time easiest to use digital stethoscope on the market.
We have been looking for more than 2 years for a telemedicine solution for cardiology and pulmonology. EKO is that solution. It is inexpensive, easy to use, secure and of the best quality of any device we have encountered. It is light, compact, works with my current stethoscope and the Bluetooth pairing with my phone is easy and fast.
