Nice dishwasher
Nice dishwasher. I've lived in apartments with full-size dishwashers and the Comfee was one of the first things I bought when renting a house along with a microwave. It takes regular size soap pods and the dishes always come out perfect. I use the regular 2 hour cycle in mine all the time, and the dishes are ready to put away. Obviously, large things can be a problem, but soap isn't that expensive especially when you buy a bulk container, so I just figure if I have to run it twice a day it's not that big of a deal. Silverware comes out beautifully clean, and only rarely is there food left on something from overloading the dishwasher. You have to be careful with things like sodastream bottles, because they can jam the sprayer arm and then you have to restart the dishwasher. This happened to me the other day, and when I restarted the washer, I only had to add one pitcher of hot water. This does heat the water, but I use hot water from the tap so my gas hot water heater can hopefully do most of the work heating the water. My house is older, and often the breaker will trip with too much loading the one breaker that feeds have my house. That said, if a breaker trips while the dishwasher is operating, it will resume without needing to drain and be filled up with water again, which is a very nice touch. I like to do dishes before I cook, and then wash the dirty ones later (I do things backwards, shame on me). Then, the dishwasher will be running while an oven or something is on, the fridge will run because I opened it's door, and the breaker will overload. Otherwise, it's a fine dishwasher that has only let me down once: When I didn't use the hose clamp for the drain hose. Install that, it'll keep your kitchen from flooding and then having a mite infestation. Anyway, with a hose clamp there, the drain hose has finally formed to the shape of its position in the sink and the counter, so it stays snugly in place and I've never had a leak ever. Filling the dishwasher with water is a bit of a hassle, but 4 full pitchers and your done, and that's a lot easier than washing dirty dishes with not quite hot enough water to sanitize them. The dishwasher does a very good job, and rarely do I ever have water spots, so I've always been happy. Noise wise, it vibrates a bit sometimes, but after almost 3 years, it seems to be wearing in and quieting down. Hopefully it will last and I don''t have to buy a new one anytime soon, so we'll see.

Get it!
This has changed my life for the better! I have struggled with the dishes my whole life. Which means I always have dirty dishes, a full sink and a whole spiral of excuses to self hate. I got the larger capacity washer for the 10.5 inch plates and it is amazing. I fit everything in here including cookware(except cookie sheets), just realize a spaghetti pot or a skillet will fill the wash basket pretty much up so you won't be able to wash much else with it. I will run multiple loads if I need to but it will fit everything. The normal cycle takes 2 hours and 10 minutes at the end the door will pop open to vent and allow the dishes to dry perfectly your dishes come out cabinet ready. But I find that it is not necessary to use anything except the rapid cycle that takes 40 minutes. There is no dry function on the rapid cycle only a beep, but I towel dry my dishes and clean out the filter screen after every load and love it. I have mine sitting on a rubber drain mat next to the kitchen sink and its so close that its easier to fill the tank with the faucet sprayer than the faucet adapter (mine was missing so make sure you have it if you need it). The pitcher that comes with takes about 3 and a half times to fill and you need to pour slowly or the water will splash out of the included funnel. Here is a tip-I put the funnel inside a zip lock bag then cut a hole so the water will drain into the dishwasher, now there is a top to the funnel and I can use the sprayer without the water tidal waveing over the side. One thing about soap, this machine comes with a packet with some liquid and a couple of those pods, do not use either. This machine doesn't produce the operating temperature to process a pod you must use powder. Also there is a cup for powder built-in the door, with a half full mark. I have found that your dishes will need to be rinsed off if you fill the soap powder cup past the half full mark it is simply to much. I keep an old table spoon in a zip lock bag of power for use and I only use a third of a table spoon for a perfect load. Dish powder is very efficient and pretty cheap I got a 3.5lb box of generic powder for $3 bucks and haven't used half the box in the 5 months since I got this dish washer. People say even at 40 minutes I could wash way more dishes by hand faster than that machine. --- That is true and also a bad comparison. 1) You will not be able to wash the dishes in water as hot as this unit so that means you will not be able to get your dishes as clean as this machine, so not the same. 2) this machine washes and rinses an entire load with the same amount of water that it would take you to wash a sauce pan, so not the same. If you are considering this and you can afford it I promise you will love it ××1 year update×× Just to let potential buyers know that I have used this dishwasher for a year and about 3 months now and it has performed flawlessly! I clean out the screen every 2 cycles and never have issues, also I just started the 3rd box of detergent. I get the cheapest generic soap powder so this is exceeding affordable to own and operate. I would make this purchase again happily.

Cleans like a little Champ!!
Moving into a home with a small kitchen, tiny sink and no dishwasher meant the ridiculously small sink was usually full of dishes neither of us wanted to wash. Besides that, even if I scrubbed and used really hot water, I never felt the dishes or glasses were as clean and shiny as they’d get in the dishwasher I grew up with. And my hands were aging prematurely 🥺 Without room in the budget for major kitchen renovation, what could I do? I knew there were portable dishwashers, but they were so big, ugly, and always required some type of water hookup. Then, I found out that mini, self-contained machines were being made that were basically plug and play, compact and CUTE! I found the Comfee mini plus and it checked all the boxes and the price was almost half of others I’d seen. Upon arrival, I set this machine up on my counter, next to my sink, attached the drain hose and plugged it in, and within minutes it was filled with hot tap water (using the included pitcher and filling guard) and soaping up the dishes!! It’s been life changing, and I’m not exaggerating much. Facing Monday morning without a sink full of dirty dishes has been positively freeing! I have now done well over 100 loads and it’s as effective, quiet and wonderful as it was for that first load! I had planned to hook up the hose to fill from the faucet, but I still haven’t done that because it’s so easy to just use the pitcher. Four pitcher fills and the beep tells me it’s ready to go. I’ve used various detergent pods but I do find that the recommended Finish Quantum pods do the best job. I’ve never had any residue problems at all. There appear to be two rinse cycles on the normal cycle, and everything is sparkling! I have used Finish machine cleaning pods and they have kept the interior itself clean and buildup free. It’s also very easy to remove and clean the catch filter, which I do periodically. This is a sturdy, heavy machine and I think it will continue to hold up well. I also feel good about the fact that I’m using far less water. Does it dry the dishes bone-dry? Not completely, but they’re dry enough. I’d rather it not waste additional energy when I can use a dab of a towel to soak up any remaining drops. The only cycle I haven’t yet tried is the fruit wash. The rapid cycle does an amazing job on lightly soiled items you need in a hurry (my coffee cups!) As another reviewer said, I’m obsessed! This was money so well spent, I wish I’d bought this years ago! It’s entertaining, too—I can’t walk past it, while it’s operating, without touching the control panel to turn the light on, just to see the spray scrubbing up my dishes and glasses!! It’s almost meditative! 😂 My only wish is that it would be available in different colors! I think retro colors would be really popular for this cute appliance, and I’d like red to match many of my other kitchen appliances.

needed repairs after 10 lightly used cycles. not clogged or dirty just not a durable machine.
i only ever put mostly-clean dishes in here to make them become spotless, it was great at that purpose and was easy to use but it died of error E4 (needs authorized service) within 10 uses! i always used Finish brand detergent like it recommends. always used Finish Gelpacs so the detergent amount always would be correct. i coddled the machine as much as possible but its death was still very quick. i did not expect it to last a long time but that is ridiculously short lifespan. it only functioned on the "quick" cycle twice then it could only ever start "normal" cycles. it was basically only used as my cup and fork polisher so it did not ever get food particles in it to clog/jam anything and i checked/rinsed its filter anyways just in case but it still had the error. the drain hose was not obstructed clogged or kinked and the machine was always on a solid sturdy surface so i couldnt do anything to help it drain "better" maybe it can't handle having hard water? if so it would have been great to know that ahead of time

💦🫧Excellent Little&Spacious Dishwasher🫧💦
This little dishwasher is excellent I really love it but they only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because mine arrived with the little plastic where you put the forks knife and spoons broken as you see on the pictures but is a great dishwasher with so much space inside you can even fit the 6 quart instant pot stainless steel inner pot thats how big it is i was really impressed They only little issues first is way too heavy at least for me I live alone and it was a mission to get to put it on the counter wow because I couldn't lift it i really wish it was lighter to move it around because i think for a woman is too heavy The other 2nd issue i noticed is way too tall and barely fits under a regular cabinet like mine you can't even put the water unless you move it to the front that's the only 2 issues why I'm giving four stars But out of that is an excellent machine very easy to use very good water usage doesn't take that much water and the durability not sure yet the value for the money is excellent too My final thoughts i really recommend this great dishwasher if you don't have any problem with the weight and the height.

Review After 5+ Months
This appliance has changed my life. I live in an old house that does not have many modern amenities. I’ve had to wash dishes by hand for as long as I’ve lived here and at a certain point I just couldn’t do it anymore. I started researching portable dishwashers and stumbled across this machine. After over a year of research and second-guessing myself I decided to get it. And it changed my life and lessened my cleaning anxiety tremendously. It has its quirks and it’s not perfect, but it’s nothing I can’t deal with. Not having dishes piling up in the sink, rotting and rusting and stinking up the kitchen makes this machine worth its weight in gold to me. The biggest downside is the size. It is definitely compact. It cannot hold a lot of larger pots and pans at once. It does get annoying having to run multiple loads but this doesn’t use much water or electricity so it’s not a big deal. You do have to be very careful with how you place dishes or they won’t get clean. The sprayer arms can be finicky. And the filter and the inside of the machine need to be cleaned multiple times a week, but it’s very quick to do. I will say, I am uncertain if the UV light does anything. I researched a bit into UV light and while I do believe in the science behind it, the application of it when it comes to sterilization needs to be very precise. I am uncertain if the UV light in this machine is the right wattage or wavelength to actually sterilize anything. But that’s okay because the hot water alone is enough to sanitize the dishes. Overall I love this machine and put it to use multiple times a day. I even clean my fruit in it. I’m never going back to handwashing dishes!

Great for our space
** I bought this for use in Perú. Our space is very limited. ** Update: been using it for 2 months now. Wirks perfectly. I use it 5 times a week. The dishwasher comes very well packaged. It includes all the items necessary to use it out of the box, even pods! Unboxing was easy and quick. I read the instruction manual a few times and was ready to go! It is well written and easy to follow. Initial setup took about 10 minutes. I set it up to drain into a bucket for now. I will make a more permanent solution soon. I am in Perú. We have 220v electricity here and this is 120v. I have an industrial power converter that can handle the load (1500w) It is on a dedicated 10 amp circuit breaker. First use I powered it on and was greeted with a beep and it lit up inside. The control on the front is easy to view but very basic. It has 5 cycles. Water filling options You have two options. The first is a connected water source. The second and easiest is to fill it manually with 6 liters of water. The included filling container holds 1.8L. You need to add 3 full pitchers and 600ml of a fourth. The machine will beep for 3 seconds when it is sufficiently filled. All cycles use the same amount of water. Cycles There are 5 cycles. 4 for washing dishes and a 5th for cleaning fruits and vegetables. C1 - 130 minutes. Pods work great with this cycle. Dishes are as clean as any dishwasher I have used in the US. C2 - 120 minutes for sanitizing baby bottles. Not tested. C3 - 115 minute cycle for glassware. It works very well. C4 - the 40 minute rapid cycle. You can not use pods with this cycle. Liquid is a must. Works well. You need to hand dry the dishes. C5 - Fruits and veggies cycle! It rocks. 20 minutes to cleanse your produce. Safety features It has a child lock so kids can not easily activate it. It disables all buttons but the power button. Water level warning. Lets you know if you have sufficient water to run the cycle. Loading Loading is pretty standard and logical. There is no need to rinse the dishes before loading. It’s only necessary to scrape off food bits. The manual has several great visual guides to proper loading. You can Jenga it to get more than they advise and still get perfectly clean dishes. The manual makes it very clear what can’t be washed. The rack folds up and down to allow differs loading puzzles to be solved. Standard stuff. Detergent I use pods that came with the unit. Finish pods are highly rated and work well. They can only be used with the long cycles. The 40 minute cycle needs liquid to work correctly. Either way pop into the door slot. Selecting your cycle Turn on power. The control panel is a bit small but still easy to view. Choose your cycle. Filling with water Add 6 liters of cold water. After 3 full pitchers, fill with a fourth until the until beeps loudly for 3 seconds. The water faucet light will also turn off when filled sufficiently. Alternatively, you can use the included hose to supply water directly from the tap. Starting the load Once you’ve loaded the dishes and detergent and selected your cycle, choose START or DELAY. You can delay the start by up to 24 hours. One press per hour. Running It’s very quiet. It runs at a max of 50dB according to my Apple Watch Noise Meter. The manual says 58dB. On C1 door auto opens with 15 minutes remaining. This is a cool down period. It’s recommended to let your dishes cool before unloading. Unloading After the dishes have cooled, unload them. Maintenance You need to check the filters and clean them as needed. If you run a short cycle it’s best to wipe the inside of the machine after use. Troubleshooting The machine has a few error codes to help in case of issues. I’ve not had to use it yet.

OBSESSED!
I am genuinely obsessed with this dishwasher! My least favorite chore is dishes like honestly there’s something about dirty food water that I have never been able to overcome & my current kitchen is small. So this countertop one fits almost perfectly next to my sink… had to sacrifice the space of my Keurig & toaster but that was more than fine with me. I mainly use the regular C1 option because I like the auto open & UV sanitizing options. To me just over 2 hrs isn’t “too long” like some other reviewers stated. Plus the dishwasher technically opens just before the 30 minute mark so if you’re impatient or think that’s too long you can totally pull the dishes out before the drying cycle is fully done. Depending on the dishes (utensils, plates, etc) they may actually already be dry by the time of the auto open! I also find that this dishwasher cleans all types of dishes including pots & pans wonderfully! I’ve never had any dishes that didn’t end up fully clean :) Although I should note I wipe/rinse them clean before putting them in because while it does have a food trap you can remove & clean again that’s just gross to me. I also should note that I don’t even use normal name brand detergent in this instead opting for a more cost effective, eco (AND WATER/FISH FRIENDLY!!) Ecover automatic dishwashing tablets! I’ve never had any issues with them leaving residue or the tablets not fully dissolving. Even my glassware ran on a normal cycle comes out sparkling.. my rents & bestie with full-size washers are so jealous of this lol they’re always complaining of streaks & such. I’ve even put a 2.5 qt crockpot dish in here that had some caked on brown rice I could not soak or scrub off by hand & it came out looking brand new! I don’t find this dishwasher to be loud and honestly I think it’s quieter than my friends full sized ones. If I’m watching tv it easily fades into the background & if I set it to turn on at night with the timer (also an amazing function) the end cycle 3 beeps have never woken me up & my house isn’t that big you can essentially hear everything from everywhere. The little tray that allows you to pour water in without having to be directly on top of the hole at the top back of the machine is great since it’s under my top cabinets which are quite high in my house but I’ve stuck my hand over the top while it’s running & don’t feel steam coming out so it’s also not going to warp the bottom of the top cabinets. I found the discharge drain pipe to be very long which makes sense if you have to run it into a bucket but since it’s right next to my sink I simply cut the plastic hose to fit. The included suction cup was absolutely worthless but I have a hand drying rack that hangs over half of my sink so I just tucked the hose into that to keep it from moving around. The few steps of installation I also found to be very easy & didn’t really even need to look at the instructions. It also holds A LOT of dishes at a time especially if you’re good at Tetris lol. I’ve posted a photo for reference which has 4 soup bowls, a 1 qt pot, small strainer, 2 large utensils, 7 normal sized utensils & a tablespoon. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again it’s become my favorite machine I own in my home. Just go for it!

4 Years Life. Great Dishwasher. Does the job!
Last purchased on 4 Sep 2021 Stopped working February 2025 Like a similar post made by someone else. The lifetime is about 4 years. The product is ideal though for its size. We needed a countertop dishwasher in our upstairs mini kitchen during covid, when things we're difficult to wash. We couldn't get the plumber to come in and connect the pipes. We needed one which just would work with water and electricity. This was our best option. We luckily had a sink counter we could fit this next to and so the dirty water can drain out easily into the sink. This neat little dishwasher served its purpose. To be completely honest, no one in the family expected it to do the job successfully. Every now and then, we would get one dish with pasta and cheese stuck to it but, upon washing the dish ourselves, we realised it's just a stubborn stain we have to was off manually. From glasses, cups, bowls, plates and even small pans, utensils, forks, spoons, knives etc. we have tried almost everything. It's a spin washer upside and down. Just in case the pictures aren't clear. The sound is reasonable, not obnoxiously loud. It has a delicate option for delicate glassware where it starts and pauses every 10 seconds. It also has different modes. If I can recall, after each wash it opens the lid automatically and starts a steam function from it's remaining water and then turns off automatically. This way we get the dishes clean and dry. Well some deep bowls may still have water in it depending on the shape of the bowls. Recommendations: Use regular dishwasher tablets. Place them in between the forks and spoons, so they will last longer and slowly break apart. Use dishwasher salt after every 4 washes at least and put 2 tablespoons directly into the drain cap inside the dishwasher. Don'ts: Do not wash flimsy plastic in the dishwasher. From our experience, the hot air steamer/dryer at the end will semi melt or misshape the plastic. Overall, for a lifespan of 4 years I am happy with the purchase for it's price. And, since the last one was great, we'd be ordering our second one soon.

Works perfectly
This small dishwasher is perfect for apartment living! It fits beautifully in a compact space without feeling bulky, and it handles everyday dishes surprisingly well. It’s powerful enough to get everything clean but small enough that it doesn’t take over the kitchen. For one or two people, it’s honestly ideal. Installation and setup were simple, and it runs quietly too. If you’re in a small apartment or just don’t need a full-size dishwasher, this is a great solution. I’m really happy with it!

it works but capacity is very small
The only advantage is that it fits in places where a standard one would not. The vessel is made of plastic, so max temperature is lower than in models with steel vessel. Capacity is very small, smaller than external dimensions would suggest. It claims 3 sets, but actually it is perhaps just enough for 1 or 2 people if they are not cooking much. There is no mechanism to hold the detergent - it will just pour in. Also, due to small volume, I think it needs less detergent than a tab for a standard dishwasher contains, so it is better to use liquid or powder detergent that can be measured.

I love it so much! Saves time and water
1 month of use: so far so good. No leaks. Cleans very well. Gotten the hang of it, so here are some tips: I added some wires so that the bigger plates won't hit the bottom water sprayer. The rack is good for utensils like fork and teaspoons, lay them on their sides. For spoons, just hang them. Spacing is important! Do not use normal manual dishwashing liquid bcos they're too soapy and the water pressure will go weak. You'll end up with soapy uncleaned dishes. Use tablets and also don't forget the salt before every use to protect your machine. I always quickly clean it inside before i start every wash, it will drain everything once you start it. Rinsing aid helps a lot too! Put it lastly on the dedicated soap compartment and start the machine quickly once you close it so that the rinse aid won't be drained, or just get a 2-in-1 soap+rinse aid capsule I've been eyeing this since 2019. This is the first time I saw this on sale. Finally have it and I am very very happy with it. Thank you Amazon 🙏🏼 Saves me a lot of time and also very water efficient. This is a must buy for busy individuals, those with long nails, or if you just really hate washing the dishes. I've always wanted a compact one for daily use. I only use 29 min.function and it does the job so well. I used to do dishes twice a day an hour each job and wasting a lot of water. Now just loading once after dinner. It has a direct water inlet to a plumbing so you can just click and go. But the pour on top function works well too. I will update after 6 months or a year
