Mcbazelmegacom DuoMon Collecting Items for Monsters Go - White

I've used this for about a month now with a great experience. Had what I thought was a support issue and they responded quickly to the web form and got me on the right path. (Niantic temporarily has turned off the service for the Go Plus, nothing to do with the product)

Works pretty good. The battery clip broke on me so I have to use tape to hold the batteries in. It connects most of the time with no problems. Once in a while I have to delete and reconnect.

It worked great on pokestops. Catching the mons the averages were not great.Then the itty bitty plastic tongue that holds the battery door shut would not hold anylonger less than one and half of use. Not dropped and very well kept.Taping it doesn’t work well. For the price it should have a better design. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Product functionality. Works as expected seems to connect and catch pkmn faster then other auto catchers iv used. I really like the ability to know how many stops and pkmn caught. It does have a tendency to miss pkmn from time to time as if it never existed but all auto catchers iv tried do this I'd really like for them to catch 100% all the time. would love it if they made it where the device saved in the bluetooth so every time it connects my android phone does not ask if I want to connect to the device.Build quality seems on the cheep side dropped it one time from 3ft with the rubber case and it broke the the battery compartment door fell off and the device was partly split in half also the key chain loop broke. The way the battery compartment is extremely easy to open and install new batteries and close the lid. Only downside is since it's a simple button if you have it in your pocket you can hit the button accidentally wile in your pocket but I'v only done this a couple of times. the size is defiantly a improvement to the last gen because the last gen perfectly fit in the cup holder of my car and you could not get it back out the new one is just small enough where i can get my figure beside in and under to pick it up out of the cup holder.Battery live is great it lasts a long time probably about 2 weeks of of use and leaving it turnd on. but iv never timed the battery life. I really wish there was a way to check battery charge without pulling the batteries out and testing them. Once pkmn go says low battery on the auto catcher it lasted about 8 hours wile still catching.Haven't tested water resistance but I remember the gotcha evolve was functional but the display stopped working after using it wile it was raining.The smaller size is nice the orignal size perfectly fit my cup holder in my car so it was extremely hard to get it out the new one I can easily pick it up since it's a good amount smaller then the original one.Not sure if something changed since I used the original but after the first time connecting I would never again have to hit the pair popup on android for new devices on the new one as of android 12 you have to hit pair every time you reconnect it unless you reconnect it within 10 minutes.

The actual catching and spinning of stops features are great and work well, but the volume and live notifications WONT TURN OFF and it’s driving me nuts. When I hood down for three seconds it tells me that they are off, but I continually get notifications for my item bag being full. I know that I can turn off spinning stops in the app, but I want it to start spinning again once my bag isn’t full, which maybe I can’t do… but I don’t want it to announce it every few seconds! It also announces “moving too fast” every minute or so in the car, which is beyond frustrating. I only have it on to catch mons in traffic or stop signs or wherever. Considering returning. It’s driving me crazy.EDIT: for people who may have the same problem that I detailed above — my phone connected to the second trainer slot, not the first, and you need to turn off the volume for each trainer specifically, not just for the device.EDIT2: just over a week in and device keeps disconnecting after just a couple of minutes or says it is connected but won’t catch anything or spin stops. Thinking about returning and buying from a different source. I haven’t seen this design of the duomon anywhere else so I’m starting to think it’s fake.

Update : 2 months later , it doesn’t work anymore . I have changed batteries and it still doesn’t work. Would love to get a replacement…Recommended by friends and so far , I do like it. Lives up to the advertisement . Wish it was easier to custom so I am still working on it . Have to remember to carry spare batteries . Not sure how to use the other stuff that came in the box though !

Parts of the catchmon just broke off. It wasnt dropped. The catchmons catch rate for this one is awful.. 100 balls starting and ended with no balls and 25 pokemon.. all terrible stats which means the Catchmon let 75 mons get away

Spins poke stops fast and reasonable speed for auto catching Pokémon.There are a few minor issues, but it still deserves 5 stars in my opinion given it’s so good at what it does.The good:1. Very long battery life. I have been using it for a week and the batteries are still going!2. Very good speed for spinning pokestops. Okay speed for catching Pokémon.3. Very good connection distance. I put this device upstair and use use Pokémon Go downstair and still connected.4. Supports 2 devices simultaneously.5. Reliable connections. It only lost connection once every couple of hours, but still not good enough to reliably catch overnight.6. When you click on the physical button on the device, it will read out the number of catches and pokestop spins in the last 24 hours.The minor issues are:1. It prioritizes catching Pokémon over spinning pokestops.2. It only uses the standard ball for catching. To be fair, all the auto catchers at the time of this review has this limit. Hopefully it could catch up to Pokémon Go+ Plus when the product becomes available.3. You can’t actually turn off auto catching on the hardware’s setting. If you only want to auto spin pokestops and not auto catch Pokémon, you have to do it in the app setting by turning off the “Identify Nearby Pokémon” option. I’m using iOS, so don’t know if that’s the same for android.A few suggestions for the manufacturer:1. Make mobile app for this device for advanced setting and detailed stats.2. Add battery level as part of the audio readout3. Add support for firmware update.4. Add built in battery charger that can detect whether the inserted battery is rechargeable.

No issues even with 2 players connected. I love it

duoMon works well for PokemonGo use and is easy to connect, even to two accounts. The only downside it has only 2 buttons but it is supposed to manage up to 6 functions (including voice commands and alerts etc)

I've used numerous autocatchers from the original Go Plus to the Gotcha classic/evolve and pocket egg and this takes the best features from all of them.Most important thing for me is catching performance and this is as quick as the Gotcha classic (which I found to be the quickest), even with 2 accounts connected. And unlike the Gotcha products there's no stupid touchscreen and the battery lasts a long time. Connection has also been more stable with fewer disconnects within the hour. Great product, quite expensive but you get what you pay for.
