Simple unit but problematic to get it to work - returned
I seemed to get a bad unit. It worked briefly but then the connection for all devices started failing intermittently and the AP that was getting power would not work reliably. Returned the unit for full refund - great service from Amazon

Plug and Play 2.5G plus PoE in a compact design
This works plug and play! The switch is compact and works very well. I am using 2 ports for PoE. This switch worked from the get go and also lets me know quickly if the port is negotiating 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps as well as whether it's using PoE. It runs warm but that's normal when you ask for a fanless mini switch. I love it!

For a non-tech simple is good
I used this upgrade to run CAT 6 to the shop. Operates cameras and no loss of through put on a 1 gig broadband service. No networking knowledge needed, perfect for an old man as myself. Excellent value for the price point. Solid and has heft to it. The metal frame gives the impression it will dissipate heat well unlike a plastic framed assembly.
