We were forced into a kitchen repair through a series of unfortunate events. All our savings and a lot of our available credit went into simply surviving the problems uncovered in our new home this last October. Through all of it, I wasn't about to miss the opportunity to find a sink I would like better as my one "consolation" for not being able to get stone countertops.For reference, I remodeled a kitchen in Cali with a stainless steel sink, and vowed I would never buy another one. Then we moved, and as things turned out, the house we purchased had a stainless sink. It may just be me, but I think "stainless steel" is the world's most egregious oxymoron. Stainless steel isn't!Anyway, I had such a limited budget for anything "pretty", I didn't think I'd be able to find a porcelain farmhouse bib-front sink that would be in my price range. I found this one, got the contractor's blessing that it would work in my kitchen, and purchased it.There are some trade-offs in my situation. My old sink was much deeper, both in the front-to-back and the water depth dimensions. But I don't care. I don't want to leave two days' worth of dishes in my sink anyway. I just want it to be easier to clean.My kitchen is finally rebuilt enough to be functional again, and I've had six days of absolute bliss in not having to fight my sink to keep it clean. Porcelain is much easier for me. It doesn't seem to hold on to food or grease or stains.I'm grateful to have found a farmhouse sink that works on laminate countertops that isn't stainless steel. It's the little things, right?

Purchased this farmhouse sink to replace a stainless-steel farmhouse sink that I hated. This sink is beautiful!It was the exact size I needed and was exactly as described. It is pitched just enough to drain nicely, something my stainless-steel sink did not do. The seller shipped it right away and it arrived just 5-days after I ordered it. It was packed really well to prevent damage and was easy to install. The only thing I wish it had was a diagram for how to make the cutout in our new laminate counter tops, but we made a few measurements, and it slipped right in.

This sink is easily installed and looks great. Always check measurements for depth, width and height!
