DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture Conditioning Mask, 8oz

BEWARE!! This product is FAKE!!! It came opened and the original product is a thick green conditioner mask, this stuff is white and chunky and smells like NAIR!!! OUTRAGEOUS that Amazon allows for vendors to sale fake products. Super unhappy. I hope someone reaches out and makes this right.

Last summer I bought this mask despite the reviews which said that it was a fake product. I bought it and loved it but it was my first time trying it and I was still wondering if it was authentic. So since I was running out and I loved the mask, I decided to repurchase but this time from Devacurl's site. The mask I bought in Devacurl looks the same, feels the same, smells the same and works the same as the one I bought las year in Amazon, so I'm confident to say it is authentic. My baby-fine, low porosity, 2c-3a hair LOVES it so much, it is my very favorite hair mask and believe me when I tell you I've tried them all!

I purchased this in Oct 2017 and only used it a couple of times. It made my hair so completely unmanageable with horrible texture and tangles. I final ordered a sample from the DevaCurl website, and realized that the real stuff actually works! As much as I liked to save a few dollars ordering the products from Amazon, it's not worth the damage from counterfeit products in this case.

My hair is super super curly and I am always on the quest for the perfect product. This is one that I have returned to more than once. I use it as a leave in conditioner and use it nearly every day. It makes my hair super curly and moisturized and looking fabulous. I can't recommend it highly enough. I just use a little bit and run it through my hair which is extremely thick and let it dry naturally and I have tiny ringlets all over my head for the entire day.

Wow what an expensive product and it doesn't even provide enough moisture or slip to detangle and such little product I ran out after just 5 or 7 washes or so. I much much much prefer Shea moisture masks those come in bigger sizes for way cheaper n many of them are extremely hydrating n provide great slip....I had to use sooo much product to get any hydration and slip and even then not enough. This is probably best for hair that is in excellent condition but curly hair even virgin is dry so really who this is for I can't tell maybe very very fine curly hair but if u have thick curly hair that needs moisture look elsewhere and save your $ as this won't cut it whatsoever.

Just used this product for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! My hair is really dry and damaged from coloring and Devacurl's One Conditioner does absolutely nothing for it. This mask was perfect for detangling my long and fine curls in the shower, decreasing the amount of time it usually takes in half and I barely had any breakage or loss of hair in the brush. I only left this product on while in the shower for about 10 minutes and I can tell that had I left it on much longer, could have over moisturized it. Prior to purchasing this product I did my research between all the DevaCurl deep conditioning products and found this one to be the most recommended for my hair type. (2C-3A) Results were great!

Purchase May/20, sold by Truemark. This product is real. I was worried about buying it because people were saying they received a fake product. I have purchased two of the smaller tubs in the past, but this larger bottle with a pump is nice! At $33 it was about the same price as the smaller size I purchased in the past.It’s my favorite deva curl product. I use it as a leave in conditioner, but it’s not meant to be used that way. I have very curly hair. It helps define my curls and makes them shine. Plus, it smells great.

Im one of the percentage of ppl who just comes back to leave a review if the product DIDNT work!!! This product did the opposite to my hair, after using it my hair was dry , rough didn’t help to untangle my hair . I had a hard time in the shower when i used it. And since my hair was more tangled after applying this mask, i tried washing it off with my regular shampoo and conditioner and it was hard for the conditioner to do it’s job .

This product is a very inferior deep conditioner with no slip and a strange powdery texture. The hair is not left feeling soft or moisturised and the product doesn't enhance curl definition. Heaven in Hair by DevaCurl is a better option. Beyond DevaCurl, Shea Moisture offer a variety of deep conditioners that easily outperform Melt Into Moisture. I will not be repurchasing this product.(4B/C hair type)

I bought this, along with some other Deva Curl products, and used them for about a year. During that time I experienced hair loss, curl drop, and extreme hair damage. I had to cut a lot of my hair off, and I still have balding areas above my temples. DO NOT USE DEVA CURL. They’re currently involved in a class-action lawsuit as THOUSANDS of people have experienced extreme hair damage.

Hmmm... Initially I thought this was amazing and felt like silk in my hair. However, after leaving it in overnight I found my hair felt weird dry as I was rinsing it out. I'm well aware of the issues facing Devacurl right now, but I want to mention I had been using and loving the decadence conditioner up until recently and hadn't encountered any issues. I do feel the ultra defining gel gives good hold but unfortunately dries out my daughter's curls compared to other brands, like Curl Keeper gel.I stopped using this leave-in since the results are lackluster compared to how much I'm paying. It's a disappointment. I've even switched back to Kirkland's organic and natural conditioner because although it's straddling the curly girl approved product list, it does a better job conditioning my hair. It has better slip and is definitely thicker. Anyways, maybe this leave-in will work for you, it's worked for lots, but I'm done with it.
