Quick arrival and very simple to set up. (I used distilled water and 3ml of dish detergent in the tank.)The lights are soft and the colour changes have a smooth and flowing transition every 3 seconds.The motor is very quiet compared to a much louder fish lamp that I have.I was worried before purchasing this lamp that the jellyfish tentacles would get tangled with the other jellyfish tentacles, but to my surprise this hasn't happened (even after many hours of non-continuous use.) I think it's due to the tiny amount of dish detergent that I used in the tank, alongside a good quality in the manufacturing of the pretty jellyfish.The jellyfish appear to "dance" in an elegant way and in a gentle and relaxing rhythm.The lamp has excellent safety features for children (and incase of accidental knocks,) by having additional layer of protection with a white silicone cap on the top of the tank - in addition to the tightly sealed lid. I even tested it (whilst unplugged) by holding it upside down over a sink to see if any water drops would fall out - but not a single drop as it's so securely sealed.The lamp is small, neat, and unobtrusive enough to fit on my desk and uses minimal space. That's the precise reason why I bought it, due to its neat and compact size. It doesn't have a remote or any option to change the light setting - just a simple on/off switch - but that's ideal for my requirements as a stress-soothing and simple-to-use desk lamp.I'm professionally diagnosed as Autistic (and so is my son,) and we're both hypersensitive to bright lights and loud sounds (which causes sensory overload and a lot of anxiety, irritability, and distress,) but we find the soft lights and the gentle movements of this lamp relaxing - it's not too bright, nor too loud, nor too flashy or overpowering to the senses. It's soothing and good for helping focus and relieving stress.I think a gentle background image in the tank (such as a coral reef or aquarium plant image) would have been a nice addition, but I plan to put some very artificial small aquarium plants behind the lamp on the outside, (as the silicone jellyfish are so delicate that I fear they would become entangled and tear if a few small artificial plants were placed inside the tank,) which can still be seen through the clear tank windows.This rectangluar shaped tank is better than a cylindrical tank as it doesn't disort the shape appearance of the jellyfish. I like to view the jellyfish with the corner edge facing the front, (as this optical illusion makes it appear like there's twice the amount of jellyfish are in the tank.)The tank is made of strong and very clear plastic. The battery cover on the bottom of the tank has a small embedded and tightly fitted screw, so the battery cover can't be removed by small children.The tank has a sturdy base when placed on a level surface.The jellyfish are so beautiful and softly glisten. I love this lamp and I would recommend it for both children and adults as it's mesmerising and soothing.

The media could not be loaded.  Everything else works other than the bit that creates the bubbles, it’s not like it’s strong enough. There is little water in but that was to show. We’ve followed instructions and filled it to the top and it’s just not working properly

Bought it for our second eldest granddaughter, she picked it and loves it. Only one thing wrong with it. The remote control for the lamp doesn't work. Inspected it and found that it was broken inside. Apart from that it is OK.

This product was given as a birthday gift to a child with autism who loves lights and moving objects.I would have appreciate if it was less fragile .

I bought this for my son for his 7th birthday and he loves it. He wanted actual fish but I don't think they would be a good idea with cat. His fishes who are called Suzie, Snorlax and Birthday now go on every night at bedtime. I'd definitely recommend for anyone especially if it's needed for calming down a child.

Ok so this i love i broke the on button because i pushed it to hard but tbf i think it wasn't on properly ive kept it because there a remote so it doesn't matter no batteries with the remote

Almost everything was good but it said quiet but the motor has this ticking humming sound no way a child would sleep with this, I have sent a message to the seller but haven't heard back so will probably have to return it...
