I had to send one back to get a second one because the first one made noise but now it's great
I had an issue with the first one it made some noise and kind of rattled so I did a return for a replacement and the one that I got now works beautifully. I love its low profile. I have it sitting under my turntable and it cools the receiver underneath. There's plenty of room for air flow and it allows me to put my turntable right on top of the receiver. Without a fan the receiver would overheat for sure. This fan more than handles the job. I don't actually run it at 12 volts I run it at 5 volts so it spins fast enough to move the air around but not so fast that it makes any noise. It's awesome for that purpose.Try running 12-volt fans at 5 or 6 volts sometimes, yes they run it half speed or less but they are whisper quiet. If you need something just to stir the air without making any noise, it's a great option.

Solid Product
This is the thinnest fan I've ever used but it's exactly what I needed to mount in a 120mm spot that was between the wall of my computer and the end of the radiator.Moves a good bit of air quietly.

Super thin, works fine
I just wish it could be cheaper

DO NOT BUY! SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I needed two thin fans for my chassis because my Noctua heatsink and memory are pretty close to the top of my chassis. I thought these 12mm fans would be perfect. They /fit/ perfectly but just like the other reviews (which I thought wouldn't be my case), these things make a loud noise after about a week of using. I already replaced one and the replacement has the same issue. Not only that, they don't actually spin even when getting full power unless I tap on them like an old TV. I'm not going to do that every single time I turn my PC on.I've decided to just buy two Noctua NF-A12x15 and HOPING the extra 3mm is fine. I already have a couple of those in my PC and they're very quiet, near silent. When these fans actually work, they're silent but I'm not going to gamble on a "maybe," especially when I'm using these fans specifically to help cool my heatsink and memory.AVOID THESE FANS AT ALL COST. THEY COULD BE $5 AND STILL NOT WORTH.
