Metal Construction is Always Preferred for All My Cycle Accessories
Solid construction, it arrived looking as well made as the photos made me think it would be. One issue, I don't recall in the descriptions that it said that this could be mounted landscape - but it can. From the photos I guessed by the construction that it could be installed sideways so that your phone sits landscape, so ordering this was a leap of faith. Luckily the mounting is indeed constructed so that the portion holding the phone can be installed 90 degrees apart - or 180 for that matter. It's actually a keyed fit between the two parts that is very nicely machined. My intended use is to start filming all of my cycle commutes again, but I saw no use in lugging around a separate "action cam" because my ride is relatively short. I'll just record each commute, and if nothing noteworthy happens, just delete the video - as was my practice anyway when using a dedicated "action cam" when living in a big city. Now living in a smaller town, the need wasn't apparent at first - but there's too much roadway misbehavior that defies logic and demands recording. It claps securely to my handlebars, and just a wee bit the bar shows in the image, but just enough to act as proof that it's my bike the camera is mounted to - should the need arise to prove that. All metal construction is a huge plus, as this will be used in all weather, all year around. Only negative, it can be lifted by anyone with the right size hex, so unless you have secure storage on both ends of your commute you may have to consider other options. One possibility would be to get some specially "keyed" hardware such is available from some manufacturers of seat clamps to provide theft proof seat hardware - but that's expensive.

Very well made, easy to install, holds phone very secure and it's a very fair price
Very straightforward, this mount is solidly made and has a quality "feel" to it. It comes with a number of options to custom fit various handlebars. Installing it is no more difficult than installing a bell on your handlebars. After ensuring it works and fits my application, I removed the mounting screws, put some BLUE Loc-tite in the threads and then re-installed. This will ensure it doesn't come loose anytime soon. The device holds your phone very securely, does not come loose and does exactly what it's intended to do. If you plan to use this on a rough downhill mountain bike ride be forewarned, anything can come loose with enough rattling and jarring. Outside of that, this does a perfect job for road, commuter and casual bikers.Measure your handlebars, make sure you've got a place available to mount your phone and then take the time to install it properly. You won't find a better or more reasonable option.

Old school, bomb proof, lifetime quality.
This holder is no joke. Is beautifully machined, and rock solid. I'm very surprised at the low cost of this. I've bought a lot of little plastic thingies from China that are simpler, yet cost twice as much as this holder. Like others have said, your phone can't be too thick, or this holder can't grasp it. I have an iPhone 6+ in a credit card holder case. My phone in case, is over 1/4", yet this holder still holds it super securely. I just make sure to twist the thumbscrew in tight! So nice to not have to worry about my phone flying out of my pocket while riding now. And having the phone mounted right over the steering tube, is the perfect position for glancing at cycling apps.

Best of both worlds, cheap and trick!
This thing is super trick. Absolutely the best value for the money. Rock solid. The arms squeeze really tightly, and the adjuster/bolt hasn't come loose once on a ride. The only thing holding me back from giving this 5 stars is that I can't deal with the cognitive dissonance I get when I put my $800 phone into this $20 device. It feels really solid when it's in the mount, but I don't still have total confidence that it will never slip out. So I bought a supplemental rubber web thing and it made all the difference. When used in conjunction, it is the most bomb-proof setup you can have. Will definitely put one on my next road/mtb.

Great Phone Mount, Won't Work With Thick Otterbox Cases
I didn't trust it at first, so used in older phone that's already broken for my first 2 rides on a long bouncy gravel road. Riding an old school mountain bike with no front suspension and 1.0 tires at 85psi, so the vibration can be very harsh on a gravel road. This held my phone flawlessly. During multiple rides after that, I completely trust this mount to hold my phone, up curbs, down curbs, and over harsh terrain. Note that I bought one for my dad but it would not hold his thick phone case. I thought there was a different MaxMiles model with longer arms but could not find it. Of course if you crash with your phone mount it to your handlebars, probably 50/50 chance of phone survival. Absolutely great for those 20mi meandering bike rides.

rock solid phone holder
I use this for my phone and I use this for a speaker. I have it installed on my e bike and this thing holds on to everything perfectly tight.. but its up to you to get it tight.. there is a screw lever at the side that you have to turn to get the desired/ needed tightness for the object you are wishing to hold.I use this off roading and its never bounced off my bike.. not even come lose. .I use it for my ipone pro (the biggest one) and I use it for a samsung speaker.. works like a charm and its easy to install fantastic product. if you are looking for a good phone holder for your regular bike, e bike or motorcycle.. this is it. buy it.. great price, great prodcut

Looks good, works well
For the money, this is a great looking piece. It installs pretty easily, but requires an unbent section of handlebar to install. The orientation of the clamp is fixed so the phone will sit at whatever angle your bars are at where you install the clamp. It holds onto your phone super tight, the adjuster screw has never loosened at all while using on my motorcycle. I would suggest you donโt use it in a bare phone or hard plastic case thought. I think the clamps might damage the phone despite the little rubber pads on the clamps. With a slim case on your phone it wouldnโt be an issue. Tested at extended highway speed on a motorcycle with no problems, would buy again.

Good quality, firmly holding iPhone, poor manual.
Good quality, but I have a lot of complaints. I purchased to hold my iPhone to my cycrosross bike. It works well with (holding tight) my iPhone 6s, with a thin silicone case. And I can easily attach to the handlebar. But did not work with the stem (stem bar is too thick). You can choose the direction but only 90 degree. I read that the "flexible" version allows you to choose the angle flexibly but I don't need it. This is perfeft for me.My complaints are...(1) The instruction is really poor (typical cheap Asian product). There are several parts that I can guess how to use but not sure.(2) Would be nice if there is extra rubber band. Seems like a lot of people purchase Timibis Replacement Security Rubber/Silicone Bands together with this. I think a lot of people are thinking the same.(3) Cannot attach to the stem bar.
