This has helped a lot with my learning. There are pictures labeled with Dutch words. The pictures to color are really nice.

First off, the quality of the coloring book is great. As for the vocab, I like how most of it is structured around a scene. This reinforces the "Roman Room Memory Method", which has proven successful for centuries.

I was pleasantly surprised that the coloring book also includes explanations of grammar rules at the beginning for reference, not just the vocabulary words with the pictures for coloring.

As I colored the pages I spoke the words and found that I had easily increased my vocabulary

Generally speaking, learning 2,000 high-frequency words of any language will give individuals the skills they require to earn basic fluency and adequate language proficiency. The "Dutch Picture Dictionary Coloring Book" is a terrific, practical, and fun way for children and their parents to get 75% of the way toward Dutch fluency and proficiency. In particular, become exceptionally knowledgeable regarding Dutch nouns and grammar. I never thought I would endorse a coloring book for learning languages, but that is what I'm doing because this coloring book has earned it. I would recommend Lingo Mastery's "Dutch Picture Dictionary Coloring Book to any aspiring Dutch speaker.

This book provides many fun ways to learn or practice Dutch Vocabulary. I am coloring the images as I learn a new word and it helps to keep me motivated by seeing the book fill with color. I believe that linking a physical and artistic activity, like coloring, to learning a language can really help with content mastery. I can think of a picture I colored and it helps me to associate and recall the corresponding word.

I've traveled extensively in the Netherlands, and found that almost every profession is open to women, yet this book shows 12 "occupations" and the only female outline is "ballerina" - not teacher, chef, judge, etc. The page on "Values" shows figures that could be doing almost anything, yet are labeled with specific values, as if they think their illustrations actually indicate specific actions. The clothing pages are equally strange. Overall, the outlines in this book are low quality. I would not recommend it.

No es tan útil si tu lengua natal no es inglés ya que viene con pronunciación y eso hace que te distraigas o confundas. Entendía que era un tipo diccionario y lo compré por la diversión de iluminar mientras conocía las palabras pero no me sera útil ya que las palabras no vienen ligadas a las imagenes sino a su pronunciación en inglés que es cero útil ya que no las visualizas con la imagen que es lo que vende el libro y no cumple el propósito para el cual lo pedi. Pensaré si devolverlo por que no genera el valor esperado y es muy caro para ser solo un libro para iluminar separado de un diccionario que puedes encontrar más fácil en otro libro o en el traductor y con mejores interpretaciones de sonido (más real y no ligado a la fonética de una lengua)

From my first scan through the "Dutch Picture Dictionary Coloring Book", as a learner of Dutch, I was excited by how unique this reference book aka colouring-in book is. It has a huge variety of topics, plus addresses different learning styles, for different ages and interests levels. Everytime I open it, I learn new things, helped by the illustrations and pronunciations. The only thing missing (although that might've overcomplicated things), would've been to add the de/het article and the plural ending/version to wach word - but I'll add them in myself. Again, a fun, unique learner's reference book that I can't put down. Definitely worth purchasing.

Helpful for learning dutch

This is firstly a colouring book, so possibly aimed at the younger Dutch learner. However, it can also be used as a dictionary with words grouped not in alphabetical order but by catorgory i.e clothing or animals etc. There is a Dutch word for each picture along with a phonetic pronounciation of the word and also a few Dutch sentences at the bottom of each section using a few words in context from the section. There are also sneeky tests and exercises to gauge your learning. I probably won't do any of the colouring but my little grandson will I am sure, and I would love that to start an interest in learning Dutch when he starts to read. I would recommend this book to anybody of any age who is, or would like to learn Dutch. Thank you Lingo Mastery.

Lingo Mastery’s latest book is another jewel! The format is excellent with the first part of the book presenting Dutch grammar and pronunciation. The main part of the book is to colour while learning. The pages are separated by theme (animals, food, weather, clothing etc) with the word list and pronunciation along with a couple example sentences on one side, and the matching pictures to colour on the following page. The illustrations are interesting and detailed. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning Dutch or improving their language skills.
