Clean Dishes Without the Weird Soap Film - Actually Works Great
I switched to these after getting progressively more annoyed with the major brand dishwasher pods I was using. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge was realizing that my glasses and dishes always had this kind of filmy residue on them after washing. Like I'd hold a glass up to the light and there'd be this cloudy coating. I thought maybe my dishwasher was dying or something, but turns out it was just the detergent leaving all this buildup. I'd been trying to use more natural/less chemical-heavy products around the house anyway, so when I saw these I figured I'd give them a shot. First load I ran with them I was honestly prepared to be disappointed because in my experience "natural" cleaning products usually mean "doesn't actually clean very well." But I was totally wrong. My dishes came out actually clean. Like properly clean. The glasses were crystal clear with zero film, the plates didn't have that weird residue, and everything just looked and felt cleaner. I keep these pods in the cabinet under my kitchen sink along with all my other cleaning supplies. The container they come in is a decent size and easy to grab one pod out of. What I really like is that there's no harsh chemical smell. With my old detergent I'd open the dishwasher right after a cycle and get hit with this strong artificial lemon smell that would make my eyes water a bit. These don't have that at all. When I open the dishwasher it just smells clean, not like I'm opening a bottle of bleach or something. They handle grease really well too which was a concern. I cook a lot and I'll admit I'm not great about pre-rinsing my dishes before loading the dishwasher. I just scrape off the big chunks and toss them in. My old pans that have baked-on oil, casserole dishes with cheese stuck to them, all that stuff comes out clean. I was skeptical that a more natural product would be able to cut through grease like that but it totally does. I've been using these for probably 3 months now and haven't had a single load where stuff didn't come out clean. Even my coffee mugs that tend to get stained - they come out looking basically new. The only time I've had issues is when I accidentally overload the dishwasher and things don't get water flow to all the dishes, but that's my fault not the detergent's fault. The pods themselves dissolve really well. I was worried they might leave chunks of undissolved detergent in the dishwasher like some pods do, but these fully dissolve every time. I just pop one in the detergent compartment, close it up, and run the cycle. No mess, no issues. I also appreciate that the ingredient list is actually readable and doesn't look like a chemistry experiment. I try to avoid phosphates and all that harsh stuff, especially because our dishwasher drains into a septic system and I don't want to mess that up. These are septic safe which is great, and they're also better for the environment which is a nice bonus. Price-wise they're definitely more expensive than the budget dishwasher detergent at the grocery store, but comparable to the name brand pods I was using before. And honestly I'd rather pay a bit more for something that actually works well and doesn't leave my dishes coated in weird film. One thing I've noticed is that I don't have to use rinse aid anymore. With my old detergent I absolutely needed rinse aid or everything would come out with water spots all over it. With these pods my dishes dry perfectly without any rinse aid. That actually saves me money because I'm not buying rinse aid every month, so the higher cost of the pods kind of evens out. My dishwasher also seems cleaner since I switched. I used to have to run those dishwasher cleaner tablets every month because it would start smelling funky and getting buildup inside. Now I haven't needed to do that at all. The interior of my dishwasher stays clean and doesn't develop that gross smell. I showed these to my sister who has sensitive skin and she ended up getting them too because she was having issues with her dishes irritating her skin. She thinks it was the residue from her old detergent. She's been using Molly's Suds for a few weeks now and said her skin issues cleared up, so that's another bonus. The container lasts me about a month and a half running the dishwasher probably 5 times a week. So you get a decent number of pods per container. I keep a backup container in my pantry so I don't run out, but one container definitely lasts a while. If you're on the fence about trying a more natural dishwasher detergent because you're worried it won't actually clean well, I'd say definitely give these a shot. They work just as well if not better than the conventional brands, they don't leave residue, they're gentler on your dishes and your dishwasher, and they don't fill your kitchen with chemical smells. I've fully switched over and I'm not going back to my old brand.

Healthier Alternative to Washing Dishes
We have been using Molly' Suds Dishwasher Pods for a few months now. We initially switched because we wanted a more natural option when washing dishes, but something that would also clean well. We have been thoroughly pleased with these pods. I have not noticed any leftover film or residue, and the product cleans our dishes thoroughly. There is also no harsh chemical smell from the bag or after the wash occurs. I have also had zero issues with the pods being broken or any leakage. Again, we've used these for several months now and have probably purchased 3-4 bags, and I have never found a pod broken or busted. Thoroughly impressed with this company and we will continue to use them as long as the ingredients are clean.

The Dishwasher Is One Less Thing to Worry About
In a busy house, I don’t need my dishwasher detergent to be exciting. I need it to work. Molly’s Suds dishwasher pods do exactly that. The dishes come out clean, the pods are easy to use, and I like knowing we’re getting the job done without some of the harsher ingredients found in the big-name brands. I’m not trying to turn loading the dishwasher into a wellness journey—I just want clean plates and one less thing to think about. When you’re managing a house full of people, meals, school, work, laundry, and whatever mysterious substance someone has left dried onto a bowl, dependable matters. Molly’s Suds works. The dishes are clean. The dishwasher is doing its job. And I feel a little better about what we’re using to get there. That’s a win in my house.

Cleans great, ruined vintage cookware, overall good?
As a mom to a toddler I got this because it doesn't have any chemicals was created by pediatric nurse and had great reviews and full disclosure it had great effect even on some of our dirtiest dishes, but some of the ingredients deteriorated some of our aluminum coated items such as our colander. And that's kind of my fault for putting it in there without thinking I thought it would be safe on the top rack it was not and I was just being lazy after a day full of chores didn't want to wash it. You live you learn you throw away vintage cookware. It does leave some spotty white residue on items in the top rack but I haven't really noticed it in items in the bottom rack. I might be a perfectionist but especially shows up on my kids daycare lunch Tupperware and that makes me feel like his daycare teacher is judging me because there's spots on it so that's upsetting. I'm hoping to maybe pair it with a rinsing agent of some kind because we don't use the drying feature on our dishwasher we just pop it open and I think it's coming from when the water just sits on it and doesn't just dry so if the water would just not do that as often I think it would look nicer. We got the citrus scent is a very potent citrus scent not unpleasant. As soon as you open the bag you know what the scent is it CITRUS. all caps. We will probably try the unscented one next.

No more super soapy suds or film!
These beat the unscented company. In my search for a better dishwasher pod, these came up as an option. I use them w/Finish rinse and compared to the unscented company, these won hands down for cleaning and not leaving streaks or a haze. I stopped using finish quantum pods because they were too soapy and the foam was coming up through the breathing port by the faucet. After some research, switching pods was the answer. I have a septic system so maybe the pipes are different rd nt from what I had at other homes where I used finish quantum. Until I moved to my new home, I didnt notice super soapy foam problems but switching pods made a huge difference and these were a very clear winner

Could be better
My favorite detergent tablets are Ecover Zero but they are no longer sold in the US. I have been trying to find a comparable replacement so I decided to try Molly’s based on the good reviews and the fact that I love their unscented liquid laundry detergent. I liked the dish pods the first 2-3 washes. The dishes looked clean, no white residue on dishes, glasses seemed clear. However, after the first few washes I noticed that the stainless steel interior of my 3 year old kitchenaid dishwasher was developing a haze. After some research I learned that the pod casing material can cause this to happen. There’s also a lot of controversy about whether or not the pod material is good. Yes it desolves and rinses away in wastewater, but whether or not microplastics are filtered out depends on the process used by the wastewater plant. There are a lot of ifs and frankly, the casing is not necessary. Ecover was a tablet (no casing) and worked perfectly. So, I ended up getting rid of the rest of the pods, cleaning the haze out of my washer, and switching to the fragrance free Dirty Labs dish powder. I’ve run a dozen loads and still no haze, my dishes are clean, glasses crystal clear, and no uncertainty about what’s going on my dishes or in the wastewater. If Molly’s reformulates I’ll try again but at this time I’ll be sticking with Dirty Labs for dishes, and Molly’s for laundry.

A must buy
An amazing product. Happy I purchased this. It leaves baby bottles and teats sparkling clean unlike other products that I have used that leave a film on the bottle teats.

Favorite, safest and absolute best
These dishwasher pods 100% do what they promise: they clean your dishes without leaving a scent. They are truly the best product available because Molly’s Suds is also Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free. This means they themselves (and 3rd parties) don’t test any of the ingredients or products on animals. Also the products don’t contain carcinogens which means they are safe for us to use.

They work very well...
I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, no complaints. They perform just as well as the large corporate brands, without the harmful chemicals.
