Had a factory 2 burned propane cooktop in the RV and it was a joke. Would not put out enough heat. Removed it and installed this one in its place. This cook top seems to heat very well. Took less then 10 minutes to boil about 3 cups of water in a sauce pan so I think it will work fine for what we need. The top seems that it will clean up easily and the controls are pretty much simple and straight forward. I think this cook top will work very well for what we need.

I love this thing!!!! I purchased it because we're in the middle of transitioning from a gas stove to an electric and I needed something to cook on in the meantime, I didn't want to purchase another 100 gallons of propane for a stove we can't use anymore. Other hot plates wouldn't hold the temperature consistently and it took FOREVER to boil water. This one keeps a constant temperature and my cook time went from 2 hours to under an hour. My only complaint was that it is in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit... so a lot of googling was needed to convert the Temps. But overall, excellent product!!!!

When I took it out of the box I was a little disappointed by the weight and feel of the device. A plastic bottom? However after using it a couple of times, it gets really hot, really fast. If your looking for a hotplate that you can actually COOK ON, then this one will indeed work. One word of caution, when I bought it the description said that you did not have to use metallic pots and pans on it, the photo even showed a glass pot on the burner, but the documentation that comes with the device says that you must use metallic pots and pans with it. It doesn't matter to me, but it might matter to you.

Ordered on October 23rd, 2023. I used it a few times a week with my pressure canner, and it worked great at first. It failed January 30th and no longer gets hot enough to boil water. There is no contact info for the manufacturer to warranty this product. Buyer beware!

This electric cooktop is not what I expected. I bought it for its convenience, but it didn't live up to my hopes. The knobs are not very responsive, making it hard to control the heat accurately. Also, the build quality feels cheap, and I'm worried about its durability. Another issue is that it takes longer than expected to heat up, which is frustrating when you're trying to cook quickly. The child lock and over-heat protection are nice features, but they don't make up for the other shortcomings. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this cooktop unless you're on a very tight budget and can't afford anything better.

We needed something that could boil water quickly and this does! I've tried a few different hot plates over the past few years and this one is the best. The multiple functions work so well. Most definitely worth purchasing.

Easy to use as an extra cooking element. I used it for canning and was very pleased and it did what I needed. I started with hot water from the tap so that it was quicker to get to near boil in 10 quarts of water. Very pleased. No company name is given which I found as odd.

I happy with this cooktop, so far there's no issue and it heats fast with ease of use

This is quite a good burner so far. the controls are easy to understand and use. it has a lock safety feature, heats up quickly and just all round does exactly what it should. we bought it for our canner but I can see us using it for a lot more than that. It's lightweight so easy to pull out or put away. I took off one star for the fact that there is no way to shut it completely off other than unplugging it. that's kind of a pain but otherwise I hope it has some longevity as I can see us using it for years to come.

So far no complaints yet. It works just as good, or better than my induction cooker. I use this mostly for cooking korean food with my Dolsot clay pot, which my induction cooker couldn't.
