Suction Cup for WheelWitness HD PRO Dashboard Camera

The new suction cup works great. It fits perfectly and holds to the windshield as designed.

I ordered this to replace the original that came with my dash cam, which broke after about a year and a half. I don't know if the mount plastic broke and caused the camera to drop, or if the suction was lost and the mount broke when the unit fell to the dash and/or console below. I was hoping to receive the item pictured, because it is a newer design than what I originally had: it appears to be slimmer, easier to secure in the narrow space behind my rearview mirror where I prefer to mount the camera. I received the older design, the same as I had before.WheelWitness support was helpful, and covered the replacement item even though my camera was out of warranty. I hope this one lasts longer than the first.

Bought this for my Wheel Witness Dash Cam. Item arrived on time. When I opened it, it looks nothing like what’s pictured. Thought I was getting something a little more exclusive for the cam for the money paid. Suction cup looks like the hundreds of generic ones for sale on here for a lot less. At the end of the day however, it works.

The suction cup does not work well. live in a hot climate and have to take the dash cam down when I park outdoors in the summertime. I am very careful when I reattach the unit and it stays in place for a while, then falls off. I make sure the window is clean, and make sure it is well attached, but still falls down - usually at night when the car is in the garage. Maybe it's the change of temperature or maybe it's because I have to remove it periodically.

Works GREAT

Got the same type that was with the unit when it arrived new, one in the photo shows more of a twist and lock type of unit. Was a replacement for the original that cracked at the pressure application lever.
